Cloudland Farm is an actual working farm just a few miles out of Woodstock, VT. There is now a beautifully constructed dining room....rustic a-frame with exposed rafters, massive fireplace, and lots of windows to enjoy the view from the top of the hill.....that specializes in farm to table, and do they mean it!! Our dinner was a prix fix 3... More

Jim, thanks for your positive review. We are so glad that you enjoyed your farm-to-table dining experience at Cloudland. The Gilfeathers in the soup were grown right here on the farm, and they were developed by John Gilfeather of VT. They are called a turnip, but some say they more closely resemble a rutabaga. Hope you can join us again... More

We were treated to dinner at Couldland by our good friends, it was a treat! I was apprehensive about the predetermined menu because of my fussiness, however it does force you to try new foods. After sampling the beet soup, something I would never order, I was pleasantly surprised and loved it. I am also not someone who can enjoy... More

Cloudland farm was recommended to us by our innkeepers at the Jackson House Inn who mentioned the food here was as local as it gets. We were able to get reservations for the three course dinner served on Thursdays and enjoyed a memorable evening there. Our long drive to the farm on a country road set the mood, surrounded as... My wife and I found this place through tripadvisor and found it to be one of the best restaurants that we have ever been in. Everything about this place was great. From the atmosphere, there help and to the food; all were extraordinary. I highly recomend that if you are in the area this place is well worth the visit

We were introduced to Cloudland Farm when we went there for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The food was delicious, the service good (although I think the kitchen was a little overwhelmed having to serve all the dinners at once, as the table with the wedding party was done before we ever got our dinners!) and the room we were in... I picked Cloudland based on TripAdvisor and Yelp reviews, and am so glad I did. My fiancé and I enjoyed a meal there this past weekend, and it was just so delicious. The dining room is gorgeous, and not too crowded or loud, but still lively. The evening we were there, the menu included lots of cider-infused dishes, including a... More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review of your experience at Cloudland. We are thrilled that it was a special evening for you both. It has been apple season here in Vermont so Chef had fun planning a menu using apple cider. That was the first time he made apple cider sorbet and we're glad you enjoyed it.... More

A wonderful experience. Nice people running a really good restaurant. BYOB is always a plus. An adventuresome drive to get there.

If you're out with friends that can be hard to please be careful- these guys make one menu a week and have a pre set with one set of choices. One app/salad/entree/dessert...that's it. What they serve is very good though, on the five occasions I have been there. Bring your own booze and dine in an elegant log cabin that... More

My friends and I had a great evening here. I've been wanting to do a farm-to-table dining experience for a while. This did not disappoint. The dirt road that leads to the restaurant offers beautiful views and you know you're on your way to something special. Once you get there, you can have drinks (BYOB) on the porch, which overlooks... This restaurant typifies the best of the Vermont dining scene: great location with view that showcases the surrounding landscape; architecture that feels genuine to the locale; personal and attentive service; and dishes, while maybe not the most refined, feel crafted and sincere, and have a complex earthiness that can be identified in Vermont and Northern New England meats, produce, dairy...
