This was our second visit to Cloudland. The service, atmosphere and BYOB was very good. The food quality was good but the portion size for the cost was very disappointing. We actually thought the app was an amuse bouche. Our entrée was equally disappointing. We saw that the portion sizes were very inconsistent patron to patron. If you happened to... More

We are several thousand miles from home, and what a way to reach the farthest point of our trip. We were lucky that the three chef special dinner was the night we needed to be staying near Woodstock and can safely say that every moment of every course was outstanding. Smaller portions that could be savoured and enjoyed rather than... More

A fascinating 15 minute drive thru the woods to this working farm venue. Park in the barn and then enter the new food barn which is the restaurant. BYO wine which is great - provided you remember as you are a long way from a bottle shop! Set menu all made with food sourced from Cloudland or local farms makes... More

The concept of farm to table and serving it on the farm is incredible and was a great experience. The menu is fixed which wasn't an issue for as we love trying new foods and love a surprise, although we were a bit surprised at portions, they were quite small. Overall the experience was great, the only thing we'd change... More

It is a farm to table restaurant, the food is delicious and bountiful but it is also so much more. You bring your own alcoholic beverage and before your scheduled time to eat you sit out on their porch enjoying a glass of your favorite libation while looking out over the breathtaking meadows, trees, mountains and other natural beauty that... we liked the setting, far up a road to the farm, set in the woods, away from it all. This is a farm to table restaurant. They grow everything and prepare the meals from their produce and animals. There is no menu of choices. You call ahead for a reservation, call again if you want to know what's cooking for... More

Location is wonderful, on old family farm in Vermont hills. Service is friendly and prompt and the food is delicious with fresh ingredients. BUT - the portions are tiny, especially for the appetizer and the dessert. A mouthful at most. It wasn't a tasting menu, and at these New York City prices, very disappointing . I left hungry.

Cloudland, the restaurant, exists on a 1,000 acre working farm where much of their food comes from. As others have mentioned, it's a unique experience! First, you drive up a long dirt road (which takes about 10 minutes and might not be so fun at night in the rain or snow) and park in a barn upon arrival. The restaurant... More

We have been traveling to Woodstock for years and, somehow, missed this little piece of heaven. Cloudland is more than a restaurant- there is something so very Vermonyt about the entire experience. Cloudland is located at the end of a long, beautiful, tree-lined unpaved road. Upon arrival, you park in a large barn and check in at the restaurant. Take... More

This is a farm to table location well off the beaten path---in fact it is about three miles up a semi-paved road. it has a lovely country atmosphere and very fresh fare. We had a rhubarb (and strawberry?) pie for dessert that was served with heavenly ice cream. This is not only a restaurant but an enjoyable destination as well.... More
