Fireplace burning in a country farm post and beam setting. Farm turkey dinner cooked with elegance. What's not to like?

We went to Woodstock for a fall foliage weekend escape, and after a day of hiking, leaf-peeping, and shopping, had dinner on Saturday evening at Cloudland Farm . This is a once-in-a-lifetime place deep into the Vermont forest, you'll need really good directions to find this wonderland. An unexpected snow squall surprised us as we drove the one-lane dirt road,... More

We have now been here a few times, and it is always one of the highlights of our stay in the area. Fresh local food, well prepared, never disappoints. The service is great as is the setting-- we always enjoy having a glass of wine on the porch and admiring the views before dinner, so try to give yourself time... More

Awesome farm to table restaurant! Truly rustic and delicious! Awesome setting, with wood fireplace. Remember it is BYOB.

Great destination dining. Relaxed elegance with a lovely room and view. Grand fireplace, vaulted ceiling with open timber construction. The food is authentic and flavored that will bring back memories of what black angus and farm raised animals use to taste like and should taste like today. Julia Child said, fat is flavor. Don't miss out. It's worth every bite.... More

The drive up the mountain was an experience in itself. Felt like we were driving up into the clouds! Loved the apple potato kugel to start. The fresh greens were fantastic. Brisket was delicious and apple cake and fantastic coffee were a great ending to a perfect meal.

The atmosphere was awesome! The food was fresh and flavorful, good pairing. We definitely enjoyed the experience but have enjoyed better meals. However, we are foodies and are critical of food. Having said that we would give it a try again if we are in the area. The staff was great and very knowledgeable about the farm. Just remember it's... More

I absolutely loved my meal here. My fiance and I visited Columbus Day weekend and went to the Farm Saturday night. We had a bottle of cider and were ready to go. We had a butternut squash soup with lemon cream, chive oil, and fried scallions to start. Our main course was cider braised pork with kale and cabbage and... More

As a Woodstock resident, I feel I need to eat at Cloudland Farm at least once every season. A unique experience, along a country hill road. The Appalachian Trail is a quarter of a mile away.

Everyone in our party of six enjoyed their experience at Cloudland Farm. We came on burger night and it was fantastic. All ingredients were fresh and locally sourced. It is a byob establishment so plan accordingly and make a stop at FH Gillingham and sons for a wine pairing. They keep an updated menu. Get there early and enjoy the... More
