Spanish with charm & flair

As is the case with most traditional Spanish menus what you read is what you'll get on your plate. However at La Torre the dishes also receive an added subtlety and flair, not to mention an unexpected amuse bouche and palate cleanser along the way. On this cold night the cosy and charming interior... read more

Sad example, of how it should not been done. Stale bread, very unfriendly head waiter. He seemed to have his favourite guests and the rest he treated like they were not worthy of speaking to. The food is the habitual fare of Benahavis, mostly frozen with a touch fo canned food. The meat was fatty and of rather poor qualtiy.... More

Enchanting place, amazing food, and unparalleled service. We wanted to celebrate an unexpected moment and stumbled upon this secret treasure as we were walking by. They were FULL with reservations and still had the decency and courtesy to slip us in for dinner (table for two). We were rewarded with a kindness and quality of service that will keep us... More

We ate here recently while on a trip to Estapona. We found it by chance as we had to drive around Benahavis to find a parking spot and it was the first restaurant we came on. It was cosy and friendly and even though they were quite busy the owner moved tables around to fit us in. The waiter Francisco... More

We had a wonderful long lunch at La Torre yesterday, having stopped in the pretty village on the off chance. A very warm welcome, some lovely small extra tasters, delicious bread, very nicely cooked and presented pig cheeks, pil pil tiger prawns, asparagus in tempura and boletus risotto, followed by mango sorbet. A gem.

My husband and I are foodies and we like good food without having to pay through the nose for it. We loved La Torre so much that we ate there 4 times in 10 days. Great quality food and good service. Over the 4 visits, we had the special taster menu, suckling pig, fish, fish, seafood, etc all of which... More
