In the Heart of Downtown Manassas

Come and hear the sights and sounds from your patio table of a historic train depot, Loy E. Harris Pavilion, and a quiet conversation at your table while being serenaded by a local musical artist. Nestled alongside the 1919 vintage train depot, one can sense the many travelers, who over the years... read more

Great ambiance as you sit by the historic train station and enjoy the sounds of the local Saturday farmers market nearby. We travel from Aldie during the warm days just to enjoy outdoor brunch at this little local gem to start our weekends. Worth the drive.

So disappointing. I went there last Friday night after work. The weather was perfect for an outdoor glass of wine, dinner and some relaxing music after a long work week. The music was good, the wine was good (but expensive) but the steak, costly and terrible. $26 for a ribeye steak with french fries. I do not mind spending that... More

Met a friend for lunch and grabbed a nice spot on the patio. I hadn't been there for awhile and I was pleasantly surprised by the new menu. It was nice to see such variety. I had the tomato salad plate and empanadas. Everything was delicious and fresh. Other favorites on the table were the seafood with gazpacho and romaine... More

I have been to City Square Café many times and my trip yesterday was not a disappointment. The menu has changed and I do miss the Reuben on the menu, but the Apple Delight is delicious as always! The patio is a great place to enjoy lunch!

I went here on a Friday night with my husband. There was plenty of outdoor seating, which was great, as the singer at the restaurant was fantastic, and my husband, who loves trains, loved watching them go by. The salmon, I must say, is out-of-this-world delicious. Their bread is quite tasty as well.

We went for dinner last week and everything was delicious and wait staff was on top off the game. We came for the brunch on Sunday and it was amazing. What a great find.

Sitting outside, enjoying the trains coming and going in late afternoon, my husband and I had such a delicious meal. We started with a chilled soup (fruit, cucumbers, jalapeños) blended to a perfect spoonful after another. My husband had the 1/2 lb burger with fries (russet & sweet potatoes). I had the Empanadas. We washed it all down with a... More

We went for dinner after meeting our newest grand baby at prince William hospital. Nice atmosphere. We were there during happy hour so we ordered a half priced appetizer and their reduced price Mellot. Empanadas and wine were both good. I ordered the tequila cod. My husband ordered their signature chicken dish. Both were good but my fish was a... More

With family coming in town to see the new banners hung throughout the city, we stopped for lunch at City Square. Beautiful day, so we picked outdoor seating for 7. We were sat without menus. After asking another waiter for menus, we then placed our order and had to wait well over 30 minutes for simple orders of salad, sandwiches... More
