We really enjoy this place to sit outside and enjoy the live music. My wife swears it's the best filet mignon she's ever had, normally gets it medium rare, but eats it rare here. She shared some bites with me and I really enjoyed even though I normally prefer medium rare to medium. I was in the mood for something... More

I really don't like to give this place a bad review, because the owners are wonderful, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and it's a local restaurant. But I feel like this place would be far more successful if they served good quality food. I've been here twice, the last time on July 4th for a special evening meal. Again,... More

We try to always pick local eating places when traveling. This one came highly recommended by some friendly local folks. It was not what we expected. The staff was pleasant and attentive...no problem there. We are foodies and both of us are trained chefs. We know the work that goes into a fine meal so we are rarely critical of... More

This was the first place we stopped when we arrived in Manassas. It caught our eye because it was directly across from the train depot. A few trains went by while we were eating which made it very interesting. The food was good. And I had a delicious sweet tea. Love my sugar! I would recommend this cafe for anyone... More

I went for lunch and this is just another "joint" in ole town Manassas--more tourist trap than a good eatery. I order the "fresh" turkey club--turkey so dry that overloading with mayonnaise stale. I elected the house salad instead of fries; you'll have to trust me, I wanted the greens but like the bread, barely on the not stale side.... More

City Square Cafe is our regular go-to restaurant. We go here several times a month for lunch and dinner as well as brunch on Saturday or Sunday. The owners, Chef Robert and his charming wife, Susanne, greet us with a welcome hug and make us feel like family. The staff are professionals who understand the menu and care about your... More

The Barolins are welcoming and the food is fantastic. Right smack dab in the middle of Manassas and across from the Train Depot..a convenient place for lunch or dinner. Especially nice when able to dine outside!

We had dinner one evening in this restaurant. Service could be better but the beer was good and the food was acceptable

The cinnamon French toast is tasty. I substituted bacon for sausage. Good choice. It is very flavorful. Not your ordinary bland meat. The kids chicken tender meal looks to be made on site. The tenders are big with a chix breast inside. The Susana sandwich was also a good choice. Everyone at the table had to try it. The three... More

Every meal here is so good! The service is excellent and the chef does some amazing things! There's this fire and ice appetizer that is to die for. The calamari appetizer is cooked to tender perfection...not chewy. Desserts are always delish! Justin (one of the waiters) really knows his menu and whet our appetite to come back again for dinner...
