This is a great little place in the middle of old town Manassas, VA. The food is excellent and on a nice night you can sit outside on the sidewalk and enjoy the little town feel!

So disappointing. I had the shrimp po boy, my sister had shrimp and grits. She got the smaller portion, came with three shrimp and they were chewy, not so fresh. My po boy washer bread than shrimp. I really wonder if I ate at the same restaurant as all the other reviewers for this place. This restaurant is known around... More

It reminded us of our two years in Louisiana. The food was great. The ambiance was perfect. And the Abita beer made it better!

Real Creole cooking in Virginia? Yes. It's true. Hot and spicy, made just like home (or as close as you're going to get around here). The atmosphere is unremarkable but very friendly. The food is quite good!

I was a bit hesitant to try Okra's while in VA last week on business. It was a pleasant surprise to enter a nice restaurant with a cute New Orleans decor, great zydeco music, attentive and knowledgeable wait staff and GREAT food! Try the Cajun Deviled Eggs - yummy! Gumbo was the best I've ever had - even from New... More

Had the small town atmosphere that made dinning fun. Would be great for a couple or friends to go to. Food was good, not quite a Louisiana fare but will go back when in town. Tasty desserts.

While visiting my daughter and son in law in Va I asked where they would want to go for their birthdays. They recommended OKRA’S in Manassas Va. Now I’m a born and bred New Englander but I studied and lived in Louisiana for a few years. Trust me, I have been to the best, the priciest, as well as the... More

Good food, good music, good beer. Everything we had was great! Hard to find crawfish at all up here, let alone done well, but man, were they good.

Met friends (who are regulars) for our first time in Okra's. we had a great time, great food (alligator bites and shrimp & grits) and great service! Hubby had the pork chops and said it was excellent. Definitely recommend Okra's to anyone in the area. We'll be back!

The food at Okra's is very good. The flavors are very much as I remember them from many trips to Louisiana, not just New Orleans. The gumbo is filled with lots of seasoning and seafood and the Po Boys are filled with more than just lettuce. The ettouffe has large chunks of crawfish and the rice is always light and... More
