We visited this small intimate husband and wife run restaurant during our recent holiday to Malta, as it was close by to our hotel. My husband is a seafood and fish chef himself, with us having been in the hospitality trade ourselves for many years, and good food is part of our life. From the minute we arrived nothing was... Excellent experience - the restaurant is a little hard to find, but well worth the trouble. The staff was very nice - a really good experience. Note that the power went out while we were dining, we were told this isn't unusual on Malta. But that's what makes travel exciting.

We stumbled across this restaurant it was noticeable that it was very popular. Smart, bright with refreshing but homely decor including alfresco dining which had a hint of romance with the soft candle light tables and entrance. Wine selection varied but very good and well priced to suit all pockets. The menu is exciting and suitable for all pallets the... More

A very warm welcome on arrival. Children's portion no problem for my 5 year old anything off the menu or mix and match, a pleasure to hear. But I must say the fillet of salmon was overlooked but still tasted great. My daughters battered squid again over cooked but she did enjoyed the king prawns. My other daughters salmon pasta... More

Dined here twice within my week in Malta. Excellent food (sublime Tiramisu) and the whole team were friendly, including the local chef and his wife, who works a day job too in an office!! Good range on menu too, inc. fresh fish and Maltese dishes.

We dined here twice in July. Superb food and very friendly service from Claudio and his team. The Pasta is perfectly Al dente, all the dishes we tried were cooked and presented to perfection. This restaurant really deserves to succeed!

There're few things that make this restaurant special. First, and foremost, is the food! Of few places we went to have the Mediterranean food, this place, so far, is the best. The owner is friendly -- we arrived a little early, but he welcomed us in nevertheless. The serving staff was super friendly and polite, too. The restaurant is located... More

First visited the Overflow 2 years ago. Food was good but service was very slow. However two years on, has new owners and what a difference. Now called "The Overflow by Claudio" really pleased we decided to give this place another go. Menu is uncomplicated which includes chefs specials. Good choice of food, local wines and plenty of time to... More
