Loved it, the fish restaurant was good with fresh fish of the day so menu kept changing. We sat out on the open deck beautiful sunset.

A family night out on our first evening in Malta. A great start, under the stars by the sea. The owner choose a lovely selection of fish for us all. All cooked well and all tasty. Great friendly service. Would return.

The food was ok, but lousy service. We felt like we were a burden to the staff. Watch out for the vover charge???

I first visited this restaurant in 1979 when two young guys would walk the tables playing guitar - their version of Classical gas was amazing. So too was the seafood. I always had Mediterranean Prawns Marniere - huge prawns cooked in the shells and served with the obligatory finger bowl so that you don't wipe your hands on the table... More

After reading the recent reviews for the Gillieru Restaurant, we must have been the odd ones out because our experience was the worst that anyone could wish for. As we walked in, everything seemed great; a waiter prepared us an excellent table at the water's edge. As it was quite windy they kindly changed our table to a sheltered one.... More

We hadn't booked, something I would recommend, but we were found a lovely table for two. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, we had a really nice bottle of white wine with our pasta meal. We were spoiled for choice with the menu, I was very tempted by the tuna, a local speciality is rabbit but I played it safe... More

I was really disappointed in this place. I saw it as I was walking along the seaside and I wanted to give it a try as from the outside it looked as a good place for seaview lovers. We stayed on the terrace and it gave me a feeling like eating on a yacht in the middle of the sea.... More

The food here was just as amazing as the view, the fish I had was so fresh and the service was impeccable too. Utterly impressed wish I could have stayed longer and gone a fee more times!

I had asked for a table right next to the sea and that is what we were lucky enough to have! Beautiful view of St Paul's Island and a perfect breeze to compliment a delicious meal. The seafood was so fresh and cooked with skill. A memorable meal and highly recommended. Thank you!

Fresh swordfish was excellent and later returned for mixed grill fish. 10% off if you are resident at the hotel (show your key). Bit pricey but really nice.
