We had lunch here between tours. The food and service were good (I loved the pimento cheese sandwich), and the cost was doable.

This little diner was perfect for lunch for our family with small kids, but make sure you have plenty of time before your tour is scheduled. All of the tables were full when we ate there and it took a long time for our (very nice) waitress to keep up with all of her tables. Food was good though with... More

Restaurants at national parks that I have been to are not something to rave about. However, I felt compelled to give this place a review because I actually liked it. Visiting Mammoth Cave on Labor Day weekend, this cafe right over the bridge from the main visitor center was packed for the lunch time crowd. We were in a line... More

For being a "captive" audience in this remote place, the food was good, the prices fair and the service friendly and responsive. Be sure to try the cole slaw.

Let's just say that if this restaurant were not located in convenient location, and not operated by the Park Service it would not exist. The service was slow but to be fair, it was very busy. Our server was kind, but obviously they overworked. The food was not all that great but our choices are limited to 3 restaurants 1 of... More

We were a captive audience and didn't have high hopes based on our meal from the night before at the other restaurant here at Mammoth Caves. (Teddy's). We felt the food was of average quality but a definite step up from the inedible food from the night before. The server was friendly and we left full and content. Nothing spectacular... More

We ate a quick lunch here between cave tours. Our server wasn't the speediest person around, but she was sweet. The food was good - better than expected! - and reasonably priced.

On the way back from Tennessee, we had to stop at Mammoth Cave Hotel for the delicious, best-ever fried chicken. We stayed at the hotel a few years ago, did the hiking through the caves. The fried chicken was so good, whenever we go through any where near that part of Kentucky, we stop for a chicken dinner. Don't forget... More

We got to Mammoth Cave an hour early as we forgot about the different time zone. We stopped in the coffee shop for some coffee and tea as we waited for the Cave tours to open. The wait staff were very friendly and did not make us uncomfortable about not ordering food. We took our tour and decided to have... More

After the awesome historic tour, kids were hungry and tired. The wait was short (10 min) and seats at the bar for our party of five was perfect. Our waitress ( patty) was incredibly warm and friendly and provided great service. Our food was above average, but not anything special( very fairly price). Perfect for a short lunch after a... More
