Expensive and limited but convenient

We had 2 breakfasts and coffee and it cost us $26. It was a breakfast buffet and was limited on options. The food was okay but nothing great. They were supposed to open by 7am but we joined a line waiting at 7:15 and they were just opening. The convenience of being right next to the hotel and... read more

Sorry.. On the phone so have to keep it short. I give a one star rating once every ten years and you earned it today on easter Sunday. Went there after a cave tour. 20 minutes to order....50 minutes to get food... Another five minutes for the drinks (hot tip: those usually come first). Most food was barely OK... Reminded... More

We ate breakfast here and loved it. Our server was incredibly nice and accommodated all of our requests, even for things that weren't on the menu! The pricing was very reasonable, and we left full and happy as we headed out for our cave tour.

We had lunch here between tours. The food and service were good (I loved the pimento cheese sandwich), and the cost was doable.

This little diner was perfect for lunch for our family with small kids, but make sure you have plenty of time before your tour is scheduled. All of the tables were full when we ate there and it took a long time for our (very nice) waitress to keep up with all of her tables. Food was good though with... More

Restaurants at national parks that I have been to are not something to rave about. However, I felt compelled to give this place a review because I actually liked it. Visiting Mammoth Cave on Labor Day weekend, this cafe right over the bridge from the main visitor center was packed for the lunch time crowd. We were in a line... More

For being a "captive" audience in this remote place, the food was good, the prices fair and the service friendly and responsive. Be sure to try the cole slaw.

Let's just say that if this restaurant were not located in convenient location, and not operated by the Park Service it would not exist. The service was slow but to be fair, it was very busy. Our server was kind, but obviously they overworked. The food was not all that great but our choices are limited to 3 restaurants 1 of... More

We were a captive audience and didn't have high hopes based on our meal from the night before at the other restaurant here at Mammoth Caves. (Teddy's). We felt the food was of average quality but a definite step up from the inedible food from the night before. The server was friendly and we left full and content. Nothing spectacular... More

We ate a quick lunch here between cave tours. Our server wasn't the speediest person around, but she was sweet. The food was good - better than expected! - and reasonably priced.
