Great for a romantic date!

We love the medieval setting, great local food, great parking. In the summer there is also a nice outdoor, unless of course there are smokers around, but that is true anywhere in Italy. This is our favorite spot for impromptu dates and even special occasions.

Fantastic food in a stunning setting. The lovely hostest was patient with our basic italian. Try the balsamic beef and the pasta with the creamy cheese sauce. I will never be able to cook pasta to my husband satisfaction again!

We stumbed upon this restaurant by chance. We were in Perugia this Easter, and on Saturdaynight almost all decent restaurants were closed. So we decided to go and see the beatiful old Corciano, but since the children were very hungry, we opted for a resurant at once. We folloed a sigh 'Il convento' and were amased by its cuisine and... This was very good and cheap, nice people, Typical Italian food and a good wine. Closed on Monday. Nice Town, with a castle.

We have had an amazing evening soaking up a real taste of Italy in Il Convento. The food was fantastic and we felt we were not rushed between courses....but were not in any way neglected either. We enjoyed it so much we look forward to returning tomorrow evening to sample more of what they have to offer.

We visited as a family last night but with the view of bringing future business clients here to dine. Therefore it was important to sample the food ourselves and assess the quality of service first hand. This is a charmingly converted convent.. However the same adjective cannot be applied to the service. My Italian husband asked one of the waitresses... More

The restaurant itself is very lovely and historic. We arrived late for lunch but they were very nice to accommodate us. We had a very nice lunch of spinach ravioli with a creamy cheese sauce and the portion was good and filling. They have a fairly large menu with lots of choices. This is a nice restaurant and would be... More

This is a beautiful little town on a hilltop with lovely surroundings. It was recommended by the owner of our villa and we were not disappointed. Hidden in the ground floor of the old convent, this place has brick ceilings and walls, which add to the romantic feel of the place. The food is well prepared and delightfully served. The... More

Beautiful garden to have dinner; very nice staff but it would be good if they had some more colleagues to help. When all tables are taken you'll have to wait long before you get the dinner served. The Italian food tasts delicious; they also have a Pizza menu for children.
