This is essentially a pizza and beer place. It's good for a quick meal, but not for a more relaxed, traditional lunch or dinner. The wine list is not very good, and they seem to pour more beer than wine, an unusual situation in Tuscany. But the pizza is good and the view is magnificent if you get there before... More

Nice location, good food, slow service but staff very friendly despite being super busy. Had a traditional starter and a white pizza.

Recommend booking a table in advance as it gets very busy even though it does have quite a bit of seating inside and outside. The selection of food on the menu is similar to that you see elsewhere, but particularly good if you're with people who have varying sizes of appetite!! The pizzas are delightful - and in my opinion,... More

The restaurant had casual outside seating which was great but not-so-great for those of you who attract mosquitoes. Mosquito-bites aside, we had an excellent dinner. We went with our kids and we were all very pleased with our dishes. My husband had the florentine steak -- which was juicy and grilled perfectly. I had the whole branzino in cartoccio (grilled... We've eaten here twice in one week and loved it both times. Excellent service, great view and tasty pizza. Our son particularly fell in love with the panna cotta!

Since Montaione was our nearest larger town with 2 so-called Supermercati, we went into town a few times during our 2-week stay in nearby Iano. We decided to have lunch here and was pleasantly surprised with the gorgeous views and serrenity of the Tuscan hills as our backdrop. If you like a crispy, thin-crust pizza, theirs is some of the... This is a great place to eat! Very good quality Tuscan food in a spotlessly clean, lovely environment. Try the tables outside watching the sun go down and the lights come on across all the little towns in the valley! Our waitress was fab! Very abrupt English, felt like we were being told off all the time which made us... More

Very traditional cuisine, service and price. The stuffed squid with tomato sauce is worth the visit. Views across the valley are very nice. Not a fan of the house wines, but a great selection of local chianti and some whites are sure to get you something you like.

Great views over the valley- delicious freshly cooked local food. Service was friendly and informal and the wine was great value for money. If it busy and you order a pizza - you may have a wait as the pizza oven only can get 3 pizzas in!

Visited with or 3 children (10,8,6) and made to feel very welcome. Had no booking on an August Wednesday evening, couldn't get a table with a view, but pleasant vaulted room inside. Mussels, clams, bruschetta, anchovies, pasta, prosciutto, pizza and swordfish, all beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Washed down with good, reasonably priced house red. Sadly discovered this place too... More
