Traditional Italian food for a very good price. Amazing pasta, meat and dessert. A great place for an easy evening out with friends or family. Make sure to call to get a reservation.

This was one of my most favorite meals in Italy for many reasons. The food is amazing, truly homemade Italian, and very typical of the Tuscan region. We arrived at dinner time after a horseback ride at La Fiaba, and were very ready to eat! Be sure to make a reservation - they are packed every night of the week... More

Went there twice during our week long stay. Great food and wine each time. Andrea is a very happy owner, even when the crowds meant that sometimes service was slow. Just relax and enjoy the great atmosphere. Recommend you make a reservation tho.

We visited San Vivaldo Osteria twice. Andrea the owner is real friendly - as the whole staff. Meals are tasty, regional and prices are ok. Families are welcome!

This restaurant was recommended by a local we know and we weren't disappointed. Although service is very slow and the waitresses aren't the happiest, the proprietor was very happy, attentive and whistled throughout the evening! The food was great and authentic. We highly recommend the Tagliatelle with wild boar sauce.

This is the second time we visited this region of Tuscany and 'Osteria' is a true gem . There is nothing pretentious about the place , offering excellent local cuisine, reasonable prices ,friendly atmosphere and normally packed with locals out dining. Andrea the owner is so welcoming and is known for whistling during service. We all had a number of... More

My husband and I ate dinner here after a sunset ride with Shannon at La Fiaba stables one town away. It was the perfect ending to a fairytale day in the Tuscan countryside. My husband and I stuck out like a sore thumb in this cozy place filled local diners, but other than a little awkwardness with us using the... More

It was suggested by a Canadian couple who reside in a villa near San Vivaldo, to tour the Sacro Monte di San Vivaldo monastery and then lunch at Osteria Ristorante in the village. What a great tip! We thoroughly enjoyed the lively and friendly atmosphere, interesting and joyful decor, and particularly the owners' whistling abilities. It is the perfect place... More
