We are annual travelers to Tuscany over the past decade and having eaten here twice during our holiday in the area 2 years ago we couldn't wait to get back here during our holiday this summer. It did not disappoint. The location is really a little piece of heaven - secluded, picturesque, rustic and even child friendly and I believe... More

We took one of the apartments for a week at the end of June. A lovely restful break with the kids. Beautifully kept gardens and pools. We had two young boys under 12 and they had a lovely time. Montaione is a small hill town but full of character and charm.

Wonderful location, good service with a huge menu which could be shortened. Food fine but not really up to the location nor some of its competitors, nevertheless very busy when we were there & very good for children outside on a good day.

Not sure I understand the high ratings of this establishment. It's a beautiful place to be sure, but after that not all that good. Food is good not great, and service is slow even for Italian standards. Was very crowded on a Thursday night to be fair, but other tables were having same issues. I was certainly expecting more given... More

Arrived with high expectations having read all reviews and we're unfortunately severely disappointed. It all started so well; great apperitives, yummy. Wine and tasty starter. And then it took 1hr 45mins before we managed to attract the attention of the waitress to clear the starter plates and bring the main course - which finally arrived without the side plates. The... Delicious and beautiful restaurant not to be missed if in the area. Travelled from Florance 50km but worth every bite! Tucked away but very busy with tourists and locals ( always a good sign) - suggest you book.

Loved the food at this place. Neat restaurant with plenty of local surprises. I would recommend the Fiorentine t-bone steak and chocolate fondant cake (one of the best I ever tasted.)

Wow! What a pearl in the heart of Tuscany. The setting deserves 6 stars, the food is incredible, the service was perfect. Starter: Linguine with cod filet bites, lemon and sage. Oh my god. Best pasta dish I have ever eaten, hands down. The balance of the meal was perfect. There were little fibers of lemon in the sauce, which... More

Visited with friends on a summers evening this was a great dining experience. Family owned the welcome was charming and friendly. The menu was wide ranging and full of local produce. Well constructed and varied wine list too. The venue is set in a valley and part of a bigger complex although keeps its intimacy. Apparently the rooms are great... More
