Trad Irish music sessions on 2nd & 4th Wednesdays. Trivia on Tuesdays. Good quality Irish pub food! It's a nice and comfy place to hang out.

We were looking for a fun and affordable place to bring family after the Christening of our grandson. Richmond is packed with restaurants. We found Rosie Connolly's and thought it sounded good. We pre-tested it the week before. Mr. Connolly is a wonderful, warm and friendly owner. The atmosphere is just like a British Isles pub (yes, we have been... More

A group of our friends were getting together at Rosies. There were 12 of us and we had great service and even though we were constantly ordering food and drinks throughout the evening, when we got (our separate) checks, they were all correct. No issue at all when we asked for separate checks. The atmosphere was great, the staff was... More

We went to Rosie Connolly's Thursday for our weekly night out. The reuben sandwich was wonderful and the homemade french fries were excellent. The "Brithish Invasion" music added to the atmosphere of the place. Overall, a good experience that I would recommend to friends and would return on our own.

Love to stop in here for a cold pint when we are in town. Cozy location and great staff. The location can't be beat either.

My family and I were originally in the area to try out Halligens bar and grill, but decided to try out this little pub on the corner. We were so hungry but decided to just get a drink, only later to realize they served food too. The french fries were delicious, along with the chicken tenders! My parents ordered the... More

Located on 17th St. at the Farmers Market. How great is it to go to an Irish bar and find out it's.....really an Irish bar? This one is. Tommy is from Liverpool and a bartending legend. There is a friendly laid back atmosphere, friendly customers, and a great selection of beers on tap and of course....Irish whiskey. ps: Ask Tommy... More

Located in Shockoe Bottom just next to the Main Street Station and the City Market, Rosie Connolly's Pub is a great place to cool your heels and enjoy a pint. They have a nice selection of tap beer. Sit up at the bar, with the many regulars, and engage in lively conversation while the owner pours you a cold one.... More

After being told which area and table to sit at, I was asked twice where I was going and told to sit at the same table I was already going to. I asked what was recommended and the waitress had no idea what to recommend. You could tell she was in a rush. When my food came, something was wrong... More

No one pours a better pint of Guinness than Tommy at Rosie Connolly's. Tommy and wife Gladis own the Irish pub and are a true part of what give this pub it's charm. Tommy is there behind the bar almost every night. The decor takes you back to Dublin. Every other Wednesday they have live Irish music. This is where... More
