We had a party of 6 for lunch on a busy Saturday. While the food was good, the service was very slow, our beverages weren't refilled unless we asked then 5 out of 6 dishes were served together with a long wait for the last one to arrive. The service took away from the nice ambiance. Think they just got... More

The food was really great. The space was a little tight and it was a little to loud for romance. The service was average but the cannoli was incredible!!

Despite a poor first visit to Tarrant's several months ago, I decided to give it another try today for lunch. My low expectations were confirmed. Although the restaurant was busy, we were seated right away - the high point of our visit. It it took 20 minutes for our drinks, a draft beer and a glass of wine, to arrive.... More

I love, love, love Tarrant's. The sad part about it is that I just discovered it a few years ago. The Food is unbelievable, portions are generous, and the overall atmosphere is comfortable, and they make you feel right at home. Well worth the visit.

My son and I have dined here several times in the past year. We love the atmosphere, the service is always pleasant and the food is very good. It offers a great happy hour at good times for me. I am partial to the eggplant stack and the she crab soup. They are both awesome. I also found the staff... More

I stopped in on a rainy day and loved staying at this chic little restaurant. There are couples sharing intimate dinners, large birthday gatherings, singles like me finding a quiet place to enjoy tea and dessert. The she-crab soup is wonderful and mouth-watering with just the right amount of creaminess--that is something to come back for! Service was wonderful.

The city of Richmond was once home to US founding father Thomas Jefferson, and it was the capitol of the Confederacy during the American Civil War. While not old by European standards, Richmond is ancient by American, and the ghosts of old soldiers and the 17th century settlers who founded it roam its cobblestoned streets. There, nearly in the shadow... More
