Very diverse menu and price point is nice. My calzone was delicious and the other 4 in my party had dishes that looked just as good! Would highly recommend.

We went to Tarrant's just after the lunch times. We had been visiting some of Richmond's great attractions and wanted to take time off for a nice lunch. After we finally found a place to park, we walked into Tarrant's and just loved the building. It has a great feel that just tells you that you are going to also... More

by now I've eaten at Tarrant's at least 15 times. It's so convenient to the November Theater - only a block away, and they have free valet parking. Shhh - don't tell everyone! My faves: Reuben Sandwich, Chicken Salad Salad, Risotto. They seem to do every dish well. Nice servers. Several are in the theater world and will tell you... More

I got a fried oyster po boy sandwich which was good, I've had better but only in seaside towns known for their oysters. The beer choices were wide and well selected. I was traveling alone and came in late so I was only one of the people in the restaurant at the time; the servers took the opportunity to hang... More

This place was mobbed. The food was good tasting, but the portions were small and not served nicely. Had the blackened Snapper and it was about three ounces. Hardly three bites. Cost of the meal (without drinks) for three people was over $100.00. Very expensive and no value for your money.

This converted pharmacy three blocks from the Jefferson is well worth the walk. Huge menu with everything from She Crab soup to fried oysters to risotto and pizza. Everything I tried was great including and especially the flourless chocolate cake dessert. I ate at the bar and bartender very knowledgable. Best of all they had a David Bruce pinot noir... More

Downtown Richmond isn't exactly a hopping spot, but Tarrant's makes a visit worthwhile. Along with the old world charm at Tarrant's comes old world value. The food is excellent, varied, and ample. Everyone from my group of four had different things and all raved about their meals. I also had the She Crab soup which was outstanding. Don't let the... More

We have dined here often, specific dates really do not matter. What does matter is the experience that Tarrant's offers. Firstly, the word "cafe" may seem inappropriate, since it is a word that can define even the most mundane dining spots. Tarrant's is not ordinary, far from it. The decor, is cute, almost campy and really classy. Mismatched items, huge... More
