If you want a delicious, "authentic" Italian heros, this is the place. Its caryout only. All ingredients are imported from Italy. The menu consists of a handful of subs, a few pizza choices, and some entrees. The roasted port hero is my personal favorite.

We have eaten at 8 1/2 several times, and each time we have tried new items. Loved everything they had! We usually try their seasonal specials, such as butternut squash soup. Wonderful. They have a creative cook who tries new desserts and other dishes. Worth trying! We definitely recommend this little neighborhood take-out restaurants to all! Great food!

This place as I understand is in the Edo's Squid/ Mama zu's family. That alone is reason enough to know that the food is GOOD. Pesonal fave...broccoletti and spaghetti carbonara. The canoli's are good too.
