Don't judge a book by its cover

Driving home from a long weekend in PA and a friend from Richmond recommended this based on this criteria - not a chain, close to I-95, and good food. She hit the mark on all three. I love this place for a quick bite. Their sandwiches are great, salads are huge and the sweet potato fries are excellent.

We have eaten here a number of times, always with excellent results. Sandwiches and salads are wonderful, the service is great, and prices aren't too bad either. Even during the lunch rush, we don't have to wait very long for a table, and our waitresses are always pleasant and get the orders right. The restaurant is very clean, too!

We have eaten here several times and the food and service has always been good. If your coming to Richmond for a ball game this place is really close to the Diamond. If you like a good burger this is the place, they make their own. The times we have been here the parking lot has always been full. The... More

Business lunch - great service and good food. I had the raspberry, Brie chicken sandwich and it was quite tasty. The lobster salad was huge and all enjoyed their meals. It was unusually quiet today for some reason but the service was spot on and pleasant. I'll be back here again.

Recently visited with friends for a TGIF after a hectic week. Great food, service, and atmosphere. I had read that the "Scott's Edition" was a great sandwich, and it was ! Sliced prime rib, and more. Toss in some sweet potato fries - Bam ! We'll be back.

Known for the size of their sandwiches - my visit certainly didn't disappoint. I had their sub 64 for lunch today and it was more than enough to fill. Very tasty and the service is always friendly and fast. This is a must stop if you are in the area.

We have usually had great service and food at this place. It was our first time taking the grandchildren in an effort to wean them away from fast food. For some reason, despite not being full, the service on this day (December 15th) was not up to par. I always specifically say I drink a lot of water to avoid... More

On a Sunday night, Kitchen 64 was a pleasant, relaxing place to meet girlfriends and catch up. The menu has a wide variety to please all and service was friendly without being intrusive. I enjoyed a grilled chicken salad.. many had burgers that looked delicious. Reasonably priced and we will return.

This place is decent- better than average decor, huge portions. It's like an upscale diner. The black bean hummus is very good. The grilled cheese with bacon and avocade- not so much. Our server told me it was crispy bacon (I really don't like the wet fatty part) but all that was on my sandwich was the wet fatty part.... More
