We always stop in Richmond on our way back from down South as our daughter always has a different restaurant she wants to show us. She does not disappoint. On the outside you get no hint of what is on the inside. After climbing Mt. Edo, you step into the dining hall. We were greeted and watched the mountains of... More

Don't be fooled by the exterior of the building. This restaurant is on the second floor of a building and the stairway has lots of cleaning supplies and mops and brooms hanging from the door. But the restaurant inside is nice with lots of windows. The food was excellent and the service very good.

We were visiting Richmond and the people we were visiting made a reservation at this restaurant. It has a very unassuming front entrance. We were told by many locals the staff was grumpy and did not take to special requests. The staff was great, the food was amazing, and we felt like we were in the know by going there.... More

We are big fans of Edo's sister restaurant Mama Zu in Richmond, however Mama Zu is closed on Sundays so we were looking for an alternative for great Italian cuisine. We thought, why not keep it in the same restaurant family and decided to give Edo's Squid a try. our loyalty was not misplaced. The service is impeccable, efficient, and... More

This place is extraordinary. As a first generation Italian-American, I am highly selective when it comes to Italian restaurants. I can detect when the ingredients arent fresh &/or canned (which appears to be about 75% of Italian restaurants out there)... but, Edo's does not fall into that category. The linguine with clam sauce is delightful and the best dish on... More

This place would pass for a perfect "hole in the wall", but, once you walk up the stairs you are taken to a quaint, bricked humming restaurant. There were ten people waiting for the restaurant to open at 5:30-a good sign for any restaurant. A special deal with appetizers for parties of 5 and up. Veal with a lemon sauce,... More

We were in RIchmond for a few days and spent a couple hours researching dinner options. Edo's sounded interesting and was it ever! Upstairs over an empty storefront, tatooed servers and delicisous food! Huge portions and reasonable prices. Loved it!
