Have visited with my sister when she and friends drove down from Cleveland, with a group of teachers after graduation, and with my husband for my birthday. Each time the food was terrific and drinks fantastic. Definitely try to mojitos or the sangria.

The food, the service and ambience were exceptional. Maybe the Budweiser Clydesdales who were in town help to put us in the celebratory mood, but certainly the restaurant helped to finish off a great evening with colleagues. Started out with three appetizers-- calamari, tuna tartar and ceviche. They were all exceptional, but certainly the tuna tartar was great. Great flavor... More

The food here is average. It is a little pricey. The plantains were not cooked to my liking, even though I love plantains. I think the best part of the whole meal was the cigar and brandy later.

Situated down in the old, but now renovated and trendy Farmer's market area near the train station and river/port, Havana 59 has absolutely perfect atmosphere and the food lives up to the billing...again and again. We've visited several times and the food is consistently excellent and reasonably priced. The "taste of Havana" plate is a must if you can't decide... More

My daughter invited my husband and me to a gathering in honor of her boyfriend. It is his favorite hangout in Richmond. Neither my husband or I are smokers so we were quite uncomfortable with the smoke. There was ventilation but if you aren't a smoker, you are really sensitive to tobacco smell and effect on your eyes. Other than... More

Kind of a neat place with character. We wanted to try dishes with Cuban flair, so we had the cuban nachos first. Nice presentation with the plantain chips, and the black bean salsa was great. I had the coastal paella, which was very good...especially the chicken. My wife had the empanadas. She like them, but I thought they were just... More

A good place to grab a drink during happy hour before heading out to lest expensive places... Food is good too, and worth it if you can get it before happy hour is over.

My husband and I had dinner here for New Year's Eve and the flavors and cooking styles were delicious! We started with the calamari (did not quite expect the squid tentacles but it was still good). For my entree, I chose the roasted chicken with a veggie and rice and the chicken was tender with a hint of lime. Rick... More

This restaurant has an excellent vibe (great atmosphere) and offers delicious meals every time we go. Love the open-air feel it has, along with the palms. The meals are tasty and presented very nicely. The bar is really cool, and we sit over there if there aren't many smokers. Great place!

They gave me a postcard, I wrote on it, and they mailed it! I received it a few days later! Super Fun on a Fall evening. Food was - okay, but the scenery is amazing. The Bartender was cute and welcoming, plus it was the first Mojito I ever really liked. Fresh mint~delicious
