Surprisingly lackluster

It has been a while since I've visited this establishment. Before my one and only visit, I had heard of the seemingly popular Chinese restaurant. I had heard many good things. Upon arrival, one can be impressed by the decor. Which is the typical style Chinese art and sculpture. However, I found the... read more

What a Jewel ! Service and Food was so much better than the large chain restaurants I visited in Richmond. The Pepper Steak was delicious! Outstanding Egg Drop soup...tastes just like the soup at the famous Canton Village in New York City. I love the classic Neon sign on the building...it is so inviting. The Retro Decor of the dining... Have been going for years when I pass through Richmond. Wor won Ton, shrimp with lobster and noodles with meat sauce were very good. Very nice staff. Not gourmet but solid Chinese "comfort " food. Not greasy and well prepared.

When I walked in it looked the same right off but looking and smelling closer I saw a dirty restaurant with... More

It´s a classic Chinese-American restaurant. Maybe not as traditional as some would want, but the Chinese family keep part of the menu authentic. Nevertheless, it´s a good option if you are craving Chinese food and want good food with a good price.

Like something out of the 1950's. The food tastes good but they use a lot of MSG and I get a headache every time I go, without fail.
