The service at the restaurant used to be adequate, but I am not sure what has happened in the past several months as the place has truly become rude. Simple orders are messed up and when you bring this to attention, either language or other reasons are given as excuses. Never an apology or even a sense of ownership for... More

This is my go to place for soup when I feel like I'm getting a cold. It's a favorite Chinese restaurant with an extensive menu. Beautiful atmosphere makes for a romantic date.

I've been eating at Yen Ching for years (Hull Street location) and I'm never disappointed. The food is amazing and the service is awesome. Love this place!

Well located and great for take out, too. Really good food. My go to place for Chinese take out. Soups and appetizers are really good as are the entrees. Try it, you will like it.

The food is great, prices are good, nice atmosphere and great service. We go here quite often. Th owner always greats us and knows our name. The variety of food is excellent and the portions generous. What else can you ask for?

This is a great restaurant. Besides the wonderfully prepared food, the atmosphere is especially pleasant with the holiday decorations. One final note, the house wines are outstanding!

I was on the road a lot recently, which is why I called this "Eat and Run." I almost missed this place after expecting traffic delays on the turnpike, but they have most of the road work finished now. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and congeniality of the folks working there. The fod came fast enough and was... More

I remember when this West End location of Yen Ching first opened, and the interior was new & gorgeous. After many years, it still holds up well & looks the same; ivory painted woodwork, deep red booths, and etched glass panels surround you as you dine. The menu has changed little, but there are always a few featured specials. And... More

While the food won't compare with a truly great Chinese restaurant, it is still a cut above most of the "Americanized" chinese restaurants in Richmond. The food is a little fresher. However, the food takes an inordinate amount of time to come from the kitchen. Several times have been given the wrong items or were missing items. Worst of all,... More

I never like Chinese food until I had takeout from this place. The food here is great and always fresh. I have only had takeout but no complaints always good. Never over greasy and delivery people are prompt and nice. Good choice for lunch.
