We stopped here on our way up 95, simply because of it's appearance on DDD. We were a little early, at 11am, and seated right away. Seating at that point was seat yourself, but we were immediately greeted and waited on by a great server. The food came out quick and was delicious. Certainly a bar food type of place,... More

This diner is an eclectic mix of the old (wooden booths with coat hooks) and the new, funky wall art. The clientele appeared quite varied - maturer locals in addition to young adults. We were the only family but did not feel out of place. There is a varied menu and it is very reasonably priced. The food was well... More

Have eaten here twice and always make a point to stop in when I am in Richmond. Food is cheap but amazing. The cheese fries are ridiculously good! The atmosphere is fun and the service is usually excellent. Don't forget to get a milkshake! It's one of the few places that doesn't just add chocolate syrup to vanilla ice cream... More

While visiting my son in VCU, we had a dinner with a large group of friends. Service was quick, courteous and efficient. Good choices of local breweries beers and vines, milk shakes are to die for! Big dinner for nine cost only $135! Highly recommend!

This has become a regular stopping point in Richmond since I discovered it a couple of years ago. It has great atmosphere and consistently good service. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food. Drinks are served in small pitchers. My usual meal is either a calzone or stromboli, both of which are excellent. The calzone crust is... More

Actually that's probably one of my friend's favorite places to eat,so she took me here while I visited her in Richmond. We got pasta and spaghetti! The portion was really big and I loved their bread and salad! Crunchy vegetables and good dressing! The spaghetti was not that good. The sauce was just okay.

The village cafe is another place featured on Triple D. Parking is a bit tough, but it is located on the outer fringe of Virginia Commonwealth U. 1st I was impressed with the architectural detail of the walls and the quality of wood used for the benches of the booths. Simply amazing. The batter dipped onion rings are out of... More

DDD location , claim to fame is onion rings and stuffed pizza. Onion rings very greasy but sweet tasting. Stuffed pizza, calzone great value for price. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was great and clean! Would go back again but not order fried food. Great pulled pork and coleslaw. Calzone, stuffed pizza was HUGE ! Very good.
