Good brunch

Stopped in here for brunch and it was pretty good. There was a BLT on the menu that was fantastic. Have cheap drinks - mimosas and a cool bloody mary cart.

Was going out to try a new place, looked like good bar fare, old avalon location, hopefully it would be ok, we were wonderfully surprised duck egg rolls a must! Duck sliders were great as well, Mac n cheese good, and beet salad rocked! Had one excellent experience, let's see if it can be repeated. Only negative, a little noisy... More

One of my friends wanted to go here for some reason for their birthday which was my birthday as well. They had already been there. I walk up to meet them and the doormen say it's too crowded and I have to wait. Two young girls walk up wearing basically nothing and the door men start whistling and hollering and... More

After being opened an hour they are turning people away because their kitchen was so slammed. Go figure..or go somewhere else which is what we had to do. Better I wasn't asked to wait, It was better was it was Avalon anyway.

Social52 offers basic Sunday brunch dishes at a reasonable price. Emphasis on eggs, Virginia ham, biscuits and gravy, etc. No granola or yogurt. Service not impressive. But not expensive either. Opens at 10Am on Sunday, a little earlier than some other brunch spots.

The hamburger --- the ultimate hamburger was very good as well as the fries! We have been trying to find a good hamburger, and we found them. The angus burger as well as the vegan burger were awesome!

We made reservations with three other couples to have dinner here and we loved it. We started off with mac n cheetos, beer cheese bread, breads and spreads, spring rolls, and fried brussels sprouts... all were very delicious and promptly brought to our table. Our entrees included the beef medallions, shrimp and grits, and burger... again, all were very delicious.... More

Met friends here to start off a dinner crawl of various Richmond watering holes. Love their Rusty Beaver brews on tap, and many other selections. Staff friendly and welcoming. Good menu selections.

What a fun evening! My husband and I went to Social 52 based on one dish: The Mac and Cheetos! And it lived up to our expectations! It was hands down the BEST mac and cheese I have ever had! We also loved the beer, cheese and bacon bread, the duck spring rolls, and the queso. The bar scene was... More

Enjoyed a recent Birthday gathering here with family. Bar first had great craft beers from the area, and found a great new one - Rusty Beaver from Fredericksburg area. Dinner was great, apps., entrees, and especially my Shroom burger. Service Tricia topped it off with a surprise slice of key lime pie with birthday candle. Parking in this are tough,... More
