We had a long wait on a busy Saturday night but the food was worth it. The bill was surprisingly low and the portions were very generous -- we took home enough leftovers for lunch, and nearly everyone we saw leave had leftovers with them too. My only regret was that we were too full to try the highly- recommended... More

You won't be disappointed with the food once you have it, but here are a few things to consider. Last visit was a Saturday about 1:15. Place was packed with earlier lunch crowd. We had 6 people which is hard to seat--4 booths and one long table, the rest are 2s and 4s. This was a recipe for disaster, not... More

The reviews all accurate describe this foodie experience complete with the aromas of the fire and spice of the forbidden island nation. The decor lacks and real atmosphere. No sights and sounds of Havana, no cigars rolled on the thighs of a virgin. Its location in downtown Richmond's VCU area create the potential of parking adventures. With those downsides this... This is one of those great little hole in the wall places. Not a lot of tables but We had a great meal there. The ginger shrimp and the pork knuckle were fabulous. We also got some empanada appetizers and coconut risotto- they were both delicious! Would definitely go back.

Kuba Kuba has some of the best food around, hands down. Went on a first date and now we're married - coincidence? Perhaps not. But be prepared for a long, long wait. Their Sunday brunch is to die for, but the last time we went, I actually had to break into my purse snacks while waiting for a table. No... More

The breakfast burrito was life-alteringly delicious. The huevos California were second to none. 10/10- would recommend to anyone with taste buds.

We went back on a Sunday, this was our second time around and a real disappointment, it took almost an hour to get a table for 3, their priority was to seat large parties first. The carne ripiada plate was full of condiments but no meat, the other food we ordered was not like the first time. The male waiter... More

This Cuban hot spot is a great find. The food is fresh and flavoursome and the servings are very large. No doubt this accounts for its popularity as on a saturday night there were plenty of people waiting for a table (no bookings). The desserts are great and we loved the coffee sweetened with condensed milk but it is the... More

Each food item was perfectly prepared. out of a party of five, we had no complaints. The presentation was also excellent and the food arrived hot. Don't forget to try the tres leches cake for dessert!

Flavorful, consistent quality, excellent service. This restaurant had been around long enough now providing great meals to qualify as a Fan standard and stalwart. Long longs tell the tale of its enduring popularity and dedicated patrons. Great for brunch, lunch and dinner. The pulled pork is a monster if a dish - sure to satisfy. The plantains also perfectly fried... More
