Very nice experience

I really enjoyed this place. The staff was all very nice. The atmosphere was cool, sort of retro type, we were on the bar side but it wasn't really noisy or rowdy. We all got sandwiches that were very good and affordable. The entrees got a bit more expensive. It's a place that I could go on a... read more

Joe's Inn is fantastic. On Saturday and Sunday they have the absolute best biscuits and gravy in Richmond. If you leave Joe's hungry its your own fault all the portions are huge. The Spaghetti is enough for three meals, the chicken salad sandwich add cheddar and bacon is heaven, try the sirloin tips with mushrooms and of course they have... More

We ordered our usual "Chicken Livers" specialty. We get the small Greek Salad and two sides (Turnip Greens & Mashed Potatoes & Gravy) during happy hour(two glasses of wine). The meal was delightful as usual and continues to amaze us. The whole bill before tip was $26.93.... and there were leftover "livers" that were enough for another meal the next... More

Frankly, I don't really get Joe's Inn. I'm guessing that the major appeal, here, is price. It's cheap, okay? So cheap, you wonder if they're stealing the ingredients. Food quality is average at best. At worst... well, let's not go there. Actually, if inexpensive pub basics are your thing, you might actually find Joe's to be appealing, if not a... More

Picked up dinner to go last nite for two. I've been a patron of Joe's Inn for over 20 years and they consistently deliver good food good service and good selection of beverage. We are a big fan of spaghetti a la Greek with meat sauce. Very generous portion and the tomato garlic sauce with feta is great every time.... More

Food, atmosphere, service, all make for a "fan friendly" kind of place. Have yet to order or eat something that wasn't very, very good, and very large potions.

Joe's is the place for a hardy sandwich (I like the tuna sub), my husband loves the chicken salad. Skinny, salty fries and a pickle compliment the sandwiches. We took half a sandwich home each. I drank 2 of the many craft beers available....Vanilla Porter! My husband had Vodka/Tonic...he did complain about the small cocktail glasses. The bill was about... More

Joe's is one of those places of Richmond lore that you gotta go check out. It has been there a long time and has a huge following! It's inexpensive and there is always a crowd. One thing that Joe's is known for is spaghetti. Big, huge, heaping platefuls of baked spaghetti. My trip to Joe's did not disappoint this evening.... More
