So. Much. Food.

We ordered the biggest and best pasta dish on the menu with all the meats and extras and were not disappointed at all! Honestly one of the best dollar/food meals that I've recieved in a long time. Both myself and my wife were stuffed with plenty to spare! Honestly you could split one of their... read more

It doesn't get any better than Joe's for neighborhood food and craft beers. I used to live 50 yards from the restaurant for 30 years, and they just keep doing it right. This place has great ambience and a sort of patina that just feels right. They've got eggs all day, gyros, spaghetti, Greek salads, subs, sandwiches just about anything... More

Three grandchildren and their mates introduced us to this fine old establishment (been here since 1952). Felt like we were on the set of Cheers. Very crowded ad everyone seemed to know at least someone else. Long bar with many drafts. Narrow aisles and smallish tables. Noise level was active, but pleasant. Dottie, our wait staff, helped us with some... More

Luckily, I was with a friend who has frequented Joe's Inn so she knew exactly what to expect. The restaurant is very small and the food is awesome! We shared a salad (not a family size, just normal - huge!) and we shared mozzarella sticks and the Greek meatballs (with cheese). Everything was delicious and the servers are great.

I live around the corner from Joe's and eat there frequently. It's an institution and an iconic place in Richmond. There are two sides to the restaurant -- the bar side and the more family oriented side. You choose by going in the left door as you face the restaurant (family) or the right (bar). Both sides have the same... More

We were excited to try Joes again but didn't get the chance. We put our name in for six, and were told the six top would be available in a half hour or so. We watched many come and go over the next hour. finally we were offered two booths. When we got to the booth we were told to... More

I first went to Joe's in 1969 when I was a pup at VCU. Great food for a 21 year old on the GI bill who just wanted something decent. Spaghetti a la Joe hit the spot. Now as a retired old fart I still like the place. Nothing pretentious just good service in a nice atmosphere with good food.... More

We live nearby eat here one a week and we hold this place close to our heart. They are always busy and always welcoming. Date nights, and family night out... Pick one side for the bar and the other for family. Either way you will eat well. Staff on both sides are always busy but very helpful. Come on a... More

We went for dinner after reading TA reviews and checking the website. It looked promising but we found it disappointing. Nothing was bad. It was just all very ordinary. First, the place is rather loud, which I'm never a fan of. I prefer to be able to speak to the people I'm dining with and that was very difficult here.... More

The food was delicious, huge portions, fast service and great atmosphere. I highly recommend it, though ask about whether portions are large enough to share because we had way to much food! The garlic bread with cheese and portobello mushrooms were to die for.
