This is a quaint spot Richmond's historic Fan district. Not fancy and reasonably priced. The Cafe offers Sunday brunch buffet that has traditional offerings along with its famous salad bar in the bathtub.

My family ate her for dinner while on vacation. The atmosphere is quaint. Service is better! My son ordered crab cakes and gobbled them up before I could get a taste. They offer a salad bar for both adults and kids which my husband and 9 year old son took advantage of. My son thoroughly enjoyed their soups and the... More

We recently had brunch here. A friend had recommended the place while we were in Richmond. OMG the food was AMAZING! My husband and daughter ordered from the menu, however, I had the "bar" and there was so much food! Part of the food is actually in a bathtub! Everything was great! My husband had the crab quiche and was... More

Everything on the menu is good, but I LOVE their all you can eat lunch buffet! I always start with a bowl of their homemade soup and then a big plate of salad! They have lovely fresh veggies, pasta salad with shrimp, hummus and tuna salad. For desert, I get a bowl of fresh fruit and cottage cheese. Plus, its... More

I went to the Strawberry Street Cafe for dinner one evening after hearing people mention it in the past. I did not try the famous bathtub buffet, however I did see it. The waitstaff was friendly and the place wasn't too noisy. We tried the fried green tomatoes with goat cheese and honey as an appetizer. The tomatoes were more... More

Four of us stopped in for lunch on a weekday. The service was friendly and prompt. We all ordered sandwiches and they were very good. The sweet potato fries might be the best I've had anywhere, ever. We would return.

Bathtub brunch was good. I think I had higher expectations and was a little let down with the buffet but good nonetheless. I wouldn't say you HAVE to go or anything but it was a good brunch...

It is a nice place and average food. People talk about it like it is so good and cool. I fail to see it.

In Richmond for business, my colleague suggested we eat at the cafe, where she remembered a wonderful meal a few years back. Instead we both found the place to be noisy (though not packed) and food mediocre at best. But, even that could be overlooked as an "off night." The clincher was the long black hair I found in my...
