My husband and I were visiting my daughter who had just moved into a new apartment in Shockoe Bottom area and we chose Bottoms Up for a quick dinner as it was within walking distance of her new apartment. The pizza was just incredible! My daughter and I shared one a medium Goat in the Garden- with spinach, goat cheese,... More

We love this place and have been going here for fifteen years now. I have always loved the Chesapeake Bay, Renegade, Karen's Combo, Hawaiian, and Meatlovers pizza. The size of the slices equals to two large slices. We have truly enjoyed all the pizza, but we have noticed that service has been lacking when eating in the restaurant.

Good food, friendly service in this Richmond bastion of all things pizza. Great menu variety/options or build your own... from a single slice to a full pie, the Bottoms Up is tops!

Crust is thick but crispy at the same time. Sauces and toppings were delicious. We enjoyed it so much, we ordered it twice. Delivery takes a while, but it's worth the wait in our opinions.

I stayed in a big hotel in Richmond and asked the front desk for a good pizza place. They recommended B/U. I asked the doorman for walking directions and as he too said it was good pizza. Neither were wrong. I had a Caesar salad which was fresh and a good amount of dressing on it. Followed by a quarter... More

I am a big pizza fan, but I like more of the NY Style. This pizza is about $8 a slice/$25+ a pizza & huge thick slices. The pasta is okay too. Live music on the weekends sometimes. They do have a 15 min express lunch option if your in a hurry during lunch hour.

Don't make the same mistake I did the first time however (or maybe do) which was order 2 different slices because I couldn't decide. The slices are about as big as your head, or computer, or a baby. Granted, they are all DELICIOUS and good to take home and reheat. Just a forewarning about the size. YUM!

Went today with great expectations, but not such great results. I liked the atmosphere and the service was really good. First of all my salad was fantastic. Their home-made Balsamic Vinaigrette was impressive, It was the highlight. My son also said his Ranch Dressing was excellent. However I'll pass on the pizza. If you like bread, you'll get plenty of... More

If you enjoy pizza – lots of pizza, you’ll enjoy Bottoms Up Pizza, but be sure to go when you’re hungry. This place is well known for piling up the toppings, and the unique location is fun. The restaurant sits beneath three sets of train tracks – the only place in the US where three different railroad lines cris-cross one... More
