My second visit and some relief they actually take reservations now! Interesting increase in restaurants in Richmond over the last two years has caused some dilution in restaurant competition and even on Saturday evening there are empty tables! Always a treat to enter the restaurant an immediately on your right is the smallest kitchen in the chef kingdom but yet... More

Millie's is the best spot for brunch. Very unique and amazing food! You can have beverages on the patio while you wait for a table, but be careful, they add up quickly at $8 a piece. Also, during your wait be sure to check out the menu which is on a chalkboard, before you sit down. There aren't any actual... More

We were visiting and some friends took us there for dinner. It has a cool environment, with a dinner setting, but fancier menu. It's actually a one page menu with varying options. We had the most traditional dish (Spicy shrimp) and it was very good, very large (you could share with an appetizer) and spicy (in a good level for... More

If only in Richmond for one weekend you must try this place for brunch on Sunday! They have the most interesting dishes! Best Bloody Mary's around and the service is great! You might have to wait for a little bit because they are really busy on Sundays but it is worth the wait!!

This is the first time we have been to this place. If you like the ole mom and pa type of place i.e. 50',60's diner atmosphere, this is the place. You will not get a traditional American eggs and bacon. Completely different. If your going for the brunch i.e. Sat, Sun you want to get there for the first seating... More

I had a chickpea cake served on a roll with olive tapenade. Hubby had a corned beef sandwich with cabbage, cheese & mayo. Cute specialty restaurant. Limited seating & chilly as it was 8 degrees out but the heat wasn't cranked up. I ate with my coat on.

It is quaint & cute inside. We were first in the door for breakfast & good thing we were bc the people came in really fast after us. I was surprised that I had never heard how good the food was before going in, but it was fantastic. The service was great, no long wait! Will go back again! My only... More

Though I'd been for lunch a number of times and always enjoyed the food, this was a first dinner experience at Millies. Loved the dinner menu and ended up with their signature Thai Shrimp dish which featured great, crisp veggies, plenty of shrimp and spices that made the entire dish sparkle. Our wine choices made great pairings and the server... More

We found this place while searching for a breakfast joint. Located in the very hip tobacco row area of Richmond. Their brunch menu is pretty set and no changes to the menu are allowed. The green chile verde pork with pico de gallo fried eggs home fries and grits was absolutely delicious. Those were probably the best grits I have... More
