We had heard about Millie's and were not disappointed. The food was amazing. While we waited, we thoroughly enjoyed watching the cooks in their tiny kitchen prepare terrific food. Went back two days later. The time to go is weekday lunch, understand people can wait two hours for weekend brunch. The menu is really interesting, uses lots of fresh ingredients.... More

I visit Richmond once a year with a friend for a homeschooling conference. We wouldn't miss our trip to Millie's. The food is great! We love the vanilla bean creme brulee....yum!!! The ingredients are so fresh and the staff friendly. You need to try if you haven't already.:)

I have been coming to Millies for about 20 years. It has always been good. Steven Speilburg visited here while in town filming "Lincoln." They use local produce, have interesting, varied entrees. Their own dessert chef who created a key lime pie with a marvelous chocolate crust the day we were there for lunch. A must go.

Enjoy a Bloody Mary or the beverage of your choice while you check out the plethora of blackboard offerings and the time will fly by while you wait for your table. Eggs Benny on a croissant, Devil's Mess, lots of omelets! Not too many veggies choices but the Eggplant, Brie and Tomato sandwich was delish. Very casual dining and super... More

It is overpriced. There is zero atmosphere. The service is average. The food is ok but really nothing to rave about. We gave it 3 chances. That's enough.

We got here about 15 minutes before they opened and stood in line. Timing was perfect as we were the second to last group to be seated for breakfast. Despite every table just filling, the staff was calm, cool, collected and did not skip a beat. Great little restaurant with incredible food. Three of us dining and all three dishes... More

I was really excited to try this place after living in Richmond for 10 years. I think its geared more towards a younger crowd. The music was pretty loud and we couldn't really chat. I thought the variety of dishes was good and the food was decent, but I guess I was expecting something more from all of the reviews.... More

If you're looking to loose weight go somewhere else! But if you want the breakfast of a lifetime Millie's is THE PLACE! Sitting elbow to elbow, sipping the bloody mary and finding what's happening locally is part of the character of the place. Can't find a breakfast as "rootin tootin" as the one at Millie's

Millies is our go-to for brunch. When we travel we say, yeah, that was good, but Millie's is better. You have to go for the experience. You will wait, you will have a bloody mary or mimosa, or coffee while you wait, you can chat it up with friends or meet new folks while you wait. They make no apologies... More

Anyone who lives in Richmond already knows. If you have never been to a weekend Brunch and Millie's you have never had a weekend Brunch (minding that it is geared toward the youngish hangover crowd who reside down in the lofts on Main).
