We stopped here on a road trip with the family. Service was very attentive, particularly with kid requests. Lemon drop martini were excellent. We ordered the salmon, ravioli (really excellent) and a fish and pasta special. Flavorful but not memorable. Prices are a bit steep.

We went out for a family dinner after a full day of Christmas Shopping. We booked reservations on-line, and had a party of 4. The place is small, and the tables for 4 are really small. We were greeted on arrival, nice, friendly, cheerful staff. We were quickly informed we could not order appetizers until we had decided on entrees,... More

My husband and I enjoyed a late lunch together.....ordering off the lunch menu at this Italian restaurant in the heart of Carytown. Enzo, our waiter, was courteous, knowledgeable of the menu, and willing to modify my husband's order on request. The food was fabulous...start to finish....calamari, caesar salad, homemade ravioli, homemade chingale ragu, ink squid pasta with smoked trout, and... More

Located in the heart of Carytown Amici's found be overlooked but worth finding. Stairs will take you to the restaurant that overlooks Cary. But don't worry about the stairs as there is lift for a wheelchair or handicapped. The linen tablecloths added an elegance to the dining room. We were quickly seated though we did have reservations. The server came... More

After having a 7pm reservation for 6, we were seated on the 2nd floor. Service was horribly slow...20 mins to get a drink order, 30 more mins to get an appetizer and a plate of pasta & meatballs for the children (hey pasta only takes 12 mins to cook) and the sauce should be ready in advance. The bread was... More

Surprisingly excellent northern Italian cuisine; we ate here to carbo load before the RIchmond Marathon, with an Italian who is normally quite critical of Italian restaurants in the States. We were both very impressed with the food and their attentiveness. We wanted as plain a pasta as possible, and they were happy to make a simple pasta with light tomato... More

We came here on night last month just because we longed for some good pasta dish. We were not disappointed. The place is actually operated by Italians from Italy and it is always gratifying to find a menu that contains no misspellings of Italian dishes. Our pappardelle with wild boar sauce was very good and the pasta was properly cooked,... More

This is a truly authentic Piedmont- style restaurant in Carytown. We have been here twice and loved it both times. On Saturday 10/3 we visited with our son and had a superb dinner. Food, wine, service, and atmosphere were all top- notch. We will certainly be back next time we're in Richmond.

When someone said "white table cloth" I didn't want to go there. Walked in, no reservation, and was immediately welcomed and very politely seated as a group of 5. Service was friendly, efficient and attentive without pretentiousness or pushiness. I had the linguine with shrimp, was excellent. A very pleasant evening. Next time in Richmond...
