Very small main dining room. Music is muted, but still gets rather loud with all tables conversing. There were many antipasti not on the regular menu, so many, in fact, I could not remember them all. A daily printed specials sheet would be a nice touch. The octopus salad was nicely done, not rubbery at all. The caprese salad had... More

I had eaten here before, but I asked Carlo, the owner to handle a 23 person dinner. We agreed on a limited menu. Four course service with drinks. Unbelievable. He should be proud to have such a nice establishment. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

How many times have you raved about the arugula? It was so good I can't even find the words! Rustica: Arugula, tomatoes, red onions in balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil! That was just the beginning! Service was impeccable! Entrees were divine! Filetto di manzo Grilled Black Angus beef filet with mushroom & barbera d’Alba red wine-demi reduction. Vitello... More

I've enjoyed dozens of really first-rate meals at Amici over the years. I count on it for consistency and quality, and it never fails.

Been a fan of this Cary St. veteran for many years and after lunch yesterday, remain quite enthusiastic. It's settled and reliable and skilled. Richmond has been taking off in the eatery biz of late, receiving lots of out-of-town acclaim. The only worry there is that you begin to get more flash and nonsense and less solid, unpretentious performance. Here... More

My husband and I ate lunch at Amici Ristorante on Tuesday, July 22, 2014. We were initially impressed by the fact that they had a handicap lift, which we needed to access the restaurant. The owner greeted us joyfully and Josh, our server, was welcoming, knowledgable about the menu and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed an appetizer... More

A friend flew in from Miami and we decided to go to Carytown. Made our reservations on open table and asked for patio seating. The girls had the rock fish and I had the veal. Excellent service along with very tasty sauces .Nothing over the top, very light. Dessert was a Tiramisu. The only bump in the road was while... More

2 had the wild boar pasta and both agreed it was delicious. 1 had the ink spaghetti with smoked trout and if you like smoked fish you will really enjoy this dish. We also had the beet tower that wasn't anything special. We had calamity that would have been excellent except they were a little too greasy. Desert was a... More
