Good Hole in the Wall

This is a classic hole in the wall type place. Cold beer, good food, but nothing fancy about the decor or plating arrangements. Order off the White Board Specials menu- the seafood is excellent. My favorite dish on the regular menu is the Chicken McArthur.

My eating at Triple D restaurants thus far has left me pretty much disappointed. Dot's Back End continues that trend for me. As an old professional chef, I've made it a habit to search out fun little places to eat. I've cooked and had the best of the best in food. In todays world of instant food, it's harder to... More

This is a local landmark. A bit small and tight inside, with barfly's against our back while we were eating. Breakfast for the 4 of us was good-very good. My omelette was only OK, but everyone else was very positive. Prices were fair, service good. Definitely worth a shot for breakfast. Menu was interesting as well.

Fantastic burgers. Went late at night. A good bit of noise and big bar scene, so perhaps not a place for children, but burgers are excellent, low priced with quick service

Great blueberry pancakes! 3 in the order. Can also order lunch in the am instead of breakfast so then I went with the steak and cheese sub added grilled mushrooms with a side of grits it was great. Returned for great dinner specials that night. Had seared sesame tuna and chicken teriyaki bowl off of the specials board which change... More

Dot's Back Inn is a very popular local restaurant. The service on a Saturday morning was very slow when there were only a few tables occupied. The coffee was poured from a carafe and was less than tepid. The food was good and ample. Obviously, locals have kept it open for 24 years but it isn't an option I will... More

This unique restaurant has a large menu of comfort food. I couldn't help but notice the condiment table on the side of the room. Tabasco, Texas Pete, A-1, yellow mustard (not Grey Poupon), and other good stuff. But comfort food is not quite fair, because it's really good comfort food and it has items that get closer to fine dining.... More

We stopped here just passing through Richmond, after seeing it on DDD. We visited on a Monday night, and the place was pretty empty, seated quickly in the outdoor area. We started off with the nachos and Mediterranean pie. We liked the nachos, but the pie was not the best. For entrees we had the pulled pork sandwich, falafel salad,... More

We saw this on triple d and decided to give it a try. Eight orthodox is not that great so we are glad we went for lunch. Food was excellent! We will definitely go back again when in town. Enjoyed pictures on wall of original owners, etc.

The Greek burger comes with feta and tasziki sauce and is delicious, a must have. It was so fresh and piled high with feta. We also had the blue cheese burger and was not impressed. It had some kind of spicy seasoning with a bad taste to it. My son had the chili cheese burger and he devoured it. It... More
