Visited this restaurant as part of our trip to Richmond after finding it on the Triple D website....well. The service was very impolite and if I had been in an area I knew we would have left. Waitress was more interested in spending time with her sister and family who had come in rather than serve customers with my food... More

Visited this establishment for the first time last week on a date night outing with my wife. The restaurant was featured on the Food Network show "Drive-Ins, Diners and Dives" so we decided to try it out....it was a Tuesday night and the place was packed but we were seated in less than 10 minutes after our arrival. From the... More

Stopped here for dinner on the way down to Myrtle Beach. We got here about 6pm and it was already packed, by the time we left there was a line out the door. Its easy to see why - the food is awesome and reasonably priced. I had the grilled swordfish special and my wife the blackened salmon. Both terrific!... More

My husband, 1 year old daughter & I stopped for lunch recently. The service was very friendly and welcoming to children. The food was good. Service was a little slow but they were busy. Overall we were very satisfied with our visit.

Had a date night with my wife on a Thursday night and said, "let's hit Dot's" - a local institution and recent start of "Triple D". We were terribly disappointed. The ambiance is always great - and know this is a neighborhood "Joint" - not anything fancy. It's a roll into a place after a day of work, get a... More

We stopped her while traveling through Richmond based solely on TA reviews. So glad we did. Drove down a beautiful tree lined street before turning back into a neighborhood of older homes. Loved the atmosphere. Dot's is located on a busy little strip where there are several other restaurants. It is in an old house with a front porch. Very... More

Undoubtedly one of the best meals I've had in a long time was the blackened grouper with cheese grits and a side of greens. The flavor was incredible. I can't wait to go back.

This is a no frills, neighborhood spot. That means really good food, lively (and busy) family place where they care about their patrons as people. We were staying in Richmond and didn't really know where to go. We found Dot's from Diners, Dives & Drive-Ins. And I bet the locals hate that fact...I would want Dot's for my own if... More

We decided to try to find somewhere from Diners Drive-ins and Dives while passing through Richmond and discovered Dot's Back Inn. What an interesting find. A very small, and seemingly old establishment, the variety on the menu was enormous. Everything we tried was well prepared and the service was very friendly prompt. Food delivery is a bit slow, they tell... More

We got a take out lunch, even at 2 it was still a busy lunch crowd, but the waitress were busy keeping up. Got the black bean burger and cole slaw, and club sandwich with spicy potatoe salad. I have to say I have eaten allot of black beans burgers, but this was the best. The cost for two great... More
