Everything works here, The space is great, service is great, and the food is excellent. Although they specialize in sea food the flat iron steak is very good. The oysters were perfect and the Sea Bass was great as well. Highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations a good idea since tables can be hard to get on weekends. Prices are fair.

I am a very picky eater and I do not eat most seafood.. I went here for a business dinner. I was initially concerned that I would not be able to eat anything on the menu. I forewent an appetizer or salad. I had the Pan Roasted Tenderloin. They do not allow substitutions on this dish. Wow. It was great.... More

Awesome service! Great farm to table food. Steak a bit salty, crab cake phenomenal. Highly recommended from friends who live in Richmond......

It's my fault. We had an underwhelming experience at Acacia last year, but the restaurant gets some decent reviews and I was convinced to go back and give Acacia Midtown another chance. Big mistake. The service was horrible. Slow, surly bordering on insulting, snide, sarcastic, but I think you get the point. Totally unapologetic that they were out of several... More

I've been enjoying fine food at Acacia since they opened in 1997. It is the standard to which I hold all other restaurants. Very few measure up including those in which I have dined in New York, London, Paris, Washington, D.C. Seattle, Key West, - you get the picture. I am a particular fan of seafood and vegetables. Acacia consistently... More

Compared to most restaurants in Richmond, Acacia Mid-Town has a more trendy feel with cool lighting, decor and seating that is perfect for a group of gals or date night. My husband and I tried this place with another couple on a Tuesday night. We were pleasantly surprised to find that Tuesday is half-price wine night. They also offer a... More

I enjoyed my dinner here very much. Reservations recommended, though I got in without them, early (6pm). Minamalist furniture style & décor. Free valet parking, as street parking, though they also share parking with the Clothes Rack Thrift Shop at the end of the same street. Nicely presented, creative choices, very attentive wait staff. Delicious fresh-baked, sliced rosemary bread served... More

Good food but it is always too noisy -- nothing in the decor baffles the noise. Ate there during Spring Restaurant Week because of its strong reputation. Server indifferent but we get that a lot in Richmond.

After enjoying the food but complaining of the noise level on a Saturday night, we went back a few times on weeknights. We asked for a table in the back and they let us sit by ourselves. We were able to talk in normal voices and loved the food, wine, and drinks. Not quite a "5" as I reserve those... More

Had an excellent meal with great service. The rock fish was superb and the grouper perfect. Started with the delicious calamari salad and the crab balls. Everything was fresh and seasoned well. One of the best meals I have ever had in Richmond.
