Rarely disappointed

I just made another lunch date with a friend at Cafe Caturra, knowing the food won't disappoint. I love the curry chicken sandwich and walnut salad. So satisfying. The wines are quite reasonable during happy hour, which is when I try the more expensive brands. My only complaint is how loud it can... read more

I was so excited to try this place. When walking in, it felt like places I have been to in Europe and Istanbul. Amazing and cozy atmosphere. It was a snowing morning when we went for breakfast, so the fireplace was perfect. I had the French Toast and although it was amazing, it was over priced for the portion. I... More

I eat lunch at Café Caturra on a regular basis. All the sandwiches, soups and wraps I've eaten have been outstanding. My favorite is the garden Panini--chock full of veggies and white bean spread. You have a side choice of fruit, salad or chips. My friend loves the club wrap. The space on Grove Ave. is an awesome spot for... More

great food. I dine here frequently and continue to tell them to serve a merlot and nobody takes my advise to heart. The malbec and the pinot just does not do it.

Chicken curry sandwich and squash soup, a salad with walnuts and grilled chicken, and my reuben, also with squash soup. Flavor is key, and fresh ingredients makes these very tasty. A peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream big enough for two, left us needing no more. Live music wasn't my taste, but an old Boston hit about Charlie on the... More

My husband and I visit " Cafe Caturra"many times after we have seen a movie at the "West Hampton Movie theatre", seeing as its just across the street ( within a block or two) We love the Raspberry and walnut salad and also The Tuscan Pinnae and the curry chicken sandwich. The Fireplace really adds to the already warm and friendly... Cafe Caturra is a staple in Richmond's dining scene. They have an assortment of sandwiches, salads, soups, and a few other appetizers. I have been here multiple times for lunch and dinner and always have a decent meal. The atmosphere is cozy and the waitstaff is friendly. There aren't too many vegetarian options for the sandwiches, but the ones they... More

Food selection is o.k. Since the Pizza is wood-fired... It tends to be over-cooked. Nice Wine & drink bar. My favorite is the Brussel Sprouts w/ Bacon & Balsamic.

I have been here three times now, and have always had amazing food and great service. The curry chicken sandwich is a favorite, and the tacos are great as well. Also have a nice assortment of salads and soups! Love the location as well!

If you find yourself in the lovely Libbie and Grove area Cafe Caturra is a spot you should seek out. The Starbucks across the street is a sleepy choice in every sense. Yes free WiFi and so much more. The ultimate treat for this 'cookie monster' was called the Royale. It's regal name describing the taste explosion and euphoric state... More
