Old meets nerw

Truly Richmond. Put on your seersucker suit, bow tie and straw hat (but take it off when you arrive), have a pretty lady on your arm, and enjoy.

We arrived at our destination, the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia, just in time to partake in one of the grandest of all southern traditions, the Jefferson's Sunday Champagne Brunch. At first, we thought it was a huge wedding, everyone dressed in Sunday finery, music being provided by a lively trio, waiters in tuxedo attire, circular tables with white cloths... More

This meal is one of the most wonderful I have ever enjoyed any where in the world! Honestly, I have traveled a great deal--and I love breakfast and brunch---have had brunches in great hotels in the US and other places, but the Jefferson is as good as the very best and much better than all the rest. And, for the... More

This is a brunch you will talk about for weeks, extremely elegant and lush. if you want to go on big brunch days like mothers day, Easter, New Years day, Anything like that you need to make reservation about a year in advance. It will be sold out. It is an event, you can starve the day before and you... More

This brunch I'd Fabulous! We try to make it there every year. The entire ballroom is converted to a huge number of unbelievable food stations from Belgian wakes, cream puffs and omelettes to shrimp,an oyster bar, roast beef, ham chicken and every vegetable you can name! My favorite eggs Benedict and bacon and sausages galore. Mimosas,Bloody Mary's: every kind of juice and fresh... More

This is the type of thing you do rarely, but is a must do and a "check the box" activity. To put it bluntly, it is expensive. That said, you can EASILY get your money's worth. There is bottomless champagne, and an all you can eat buffet filled with very high end foods and desserts. The staff is extremely professional... More

Welcome to the home of the perfect breakfast food. The eggs Jefferson - their take on eggs Benedict is a culinary marvel. A perfectly poached egg on ham, perched on an light, fluffy buttermilk biscuit with a hint of flavorful hollandaise. The rest of the vast array of offerings are very well prepared. I especially enjoyed the high quality nova... More

Anything and everything you'd ever want to eat! Sat in to the side of the main area. Would love to sit upstairs overlooking the mezzanine next time. Love the unlimited champagne/mimosas. A little on the expensive side, but worth it if you're a buffet kind of person with an appetite!
