While on a recent business trip to Richmond I was amazed to find this amazing place. I had been joined by my wife and one year old son for this trip. My son had 'picked' himself out a driving cap earlier in the day and as we walked across the threashold, the locals in the place turned and warmly greeted... More

We ate here after a long day of sightseeing in Richmond. The Franklin Inn is a small neighborhood eatery that says they have switched from sandwiches to a small menu of made from scratch dishes and daily specials. Paper menus offered a limited but diverse selection and the establishment welcomed comments on their fresh new offerings. The atmosphere was one... More

This is a small restaurant bar run by friendly people. The menu isn't huge but there's enough variety for just about anyone. I've enjoyed the burger and the rueben was great. Wednesday is pasta night and the portions are generous with a nice portion of protein - fish, chicken or beef. Daily specials are posted on the blackboard outside. The... More

Went the night after Christmas. Seemed to be filled with locals. Warm and welcoming. Small and cozy. Nice specials. Food was very tasty. Booths were a bit tight if you are tall, choose a bar still for more room.

This is that great little place with warmth & menu to meet a wide choice-good selection and creativity but some real down home favorites to boot- solid wines and bar- except for one glaring gap- limited single malt scotch!- always a joy to be there! friendly and helpful staff- chef does wonders in small kitchen! Right off Monument at Cleveland... More

Good burgers, nice wine list, friendly neighborhood spot, and so reasonable! They are open late, a blessing for us after an excruciating ride from DC during rush hour!

While visiting the area, this restaurant was suggested to us by our B&B hosts. It was exactly what we needed after a full day of travel...relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and good food and drinks. The wine list had great affordable choices, but I recommend the pineapple upside down cake martini for dessert! I wish my neighborhood at home had a... More
