We went for lunch and sat on the patio. We enjoyed a very delicious Ruben with arugula and bean salad, cucumber salad, and truffle french fries. We also enjoyed a glass of wine while watching the city street life pass by. Service was absolutely wonderful and we look forward to returning.

We had a terrific evening at Arcadia. With an extensive wine list, we started with a bottle of cabernet and salads. Both were wonderful. Our entrees were the filet and salmon. Both were cooked to our exact liking, and the flavors were both bold and remarkable. We finished the evening with a chocolate tart and gelato. Having a gluten intolerance,... More

We had a reservation for a party of six at 8:00 (May 10, 2014); we waited 15 minutes for the table. When the waiter came over, we were immediately informed that they were out of four entrees, two of which were going to be our choices. We were also told there were only two each of another menu item, and... More

Dined there last evening. First, the waiter suggested a wine, come to find out they were out of it. But of course they had his second suggestion ( a bottle costing $20 more). The Caesar salad was good, nothing great. My fife had the salmon entree, It was full of bones. I'm not talking a random bone that was missed,... More

I went here for a group meeting, about twenty of us. We had the room upstairs and the wait staff were very attentive and efficient. I had the chicken, it was very good with a smoky tomato sauce. I enjoyed the sides of broccoli rabe and mashed potatoes with tomato. We had creme brulee to complete the meal, it was... More

We went with a party of 6 on Saturday night. The service was great. The food excellent. A bit noise as it is in an old building. The management met all of our needs with reservations through open table.Wine selection very interesting and the prices were very good.

Went here on Feb 15. Took a long time to get waited on. The hostesses made several comments to wait staff for someone to take our table. A discussion ensued because no one knew who was responsible for our table. Someone finally came and took our wine order; however, they were out of everything we wanted. Ordered the aricini to... Went here last weekend b4 a show at the National. Ambiance is quite sophisticated and not sure service is very good. We all had the fixed price menu (either all or none have to order the fixe price menu, not sure why?) Beet salad was great w/ creamy goat cheese and large chunky beets. Pork chop and fish entrees were... More

Overall service was excellent. The appetizers stuffed arancini and shrimp skewer were OK but bit skimpy. Arugula salad was soggy, as if the someone balled it up to squeeze the excess dressing out of it and was still over-drenched in vinegary dressing; worst arugula salad ever. The filets were cooked as ordered, medium and medium-rare but somewhat dry and over-seasoned.... More

Attractive restaurant in Richmond's Shockoe Bottom District with skilled service and quality ingredients. Food, however, had issues. Arugula salad was waterlogged in a strong vinaigrette dressing. Fried oysters were well cooked but arrived cold and somewhat soggy. Accompanying salad had an overly peppery dressing which the strong greens chosen didn't need. The small filet was cooked as ordered, but It... More
