Classic Bistro Restaurant

very nice classic French bistro food I downtown Richmond. The French onion soup was excellent as was the very fresh & tangy salad. Great location in downtown Richmond, and a nice addition to the options in the city. The menu has an adequate variety - I went for lunch with friends and had the daily special of Turkey Melt with a side of Tomato Bisque. The sandwich was loaded with turkey, mushrooms and cheeses, and was very tasty. The bisque, however tasted more... More

We read the reviews and decided to give this restaurant a try. It was not a busy night because of the rain and cold. The ambiance and the personality of the manger and the waiter made all the difference. They made you feel at home and displayed good knowledge about the menu. We started with a French loaf and honey... More

In town for a conference, I was looking for a friendly place for a solo dinner. Early on a Thursday night, La Parisienne was bustling with a happy hour crowd. But the wait staff was fast and attentive, offering good recommendations for both food and wine. My opening glass of sauvignon blanc was crisp and refreshing, great with the salad... More

My wife and I have been going for awhile now, mainly for happy hour. Everyone on staff is very friendly, accommodating and well knowledged of the offerings, both food and drink. For the first time these past 2 weeks we have tried some of the food and the quality and flavors were wonderful. The Frommage aux croquettes had a great... More

We've eaten here a couple of times and thoroughly enjoy it. The service is excellent - the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The menu is particularly creative, with lots of fun-filled crepes and other specialties. My last meal included a spicy lamb entree that was really extraordinary. Give it a shot - you will be pleased!

Went there on a quiet weeknight and experienced some delicious crepes. They were constructed flat rather than rolled as you might expect. My spouse had seafood while I had one that was filled and covered with all sorts of tasty delights too numerous to mention. Service was excellent. Parking is best catty corned in a garage which the restaurant will... More

Situated on a corner on Canal Street this place could easily be missed. We went there for early evening drinks and a light meal. Ali and Jamal were wonderfully friendly and made sure that we enjoyed our visit. The food on offer was great and there was a good selection of wines and cocktails on offer. Their Cosmo's were excellent......... More

I read the reviews and was excited. We had the seafood crepes. The seafood was small, probably frozen and reheated. The sauce was good, but salty. Crepes were nice as was the mini-crab on top. We then had the mussels. We love mussels and I often prepare them. These were just plain bad. Many cracked shells, overcooked, raw celery in... More

Four of us went out to eat at La Parisienne and had a wonderful experience. We had the fried Crepe appetizer and it was amazing! We ordered 4 different entrees and all were made to perfection. We shared two dessert crepes and they were also delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
