Excellent Service, wonderful food!

We have been to this restaurant several times. They have unusual food choices and combinations to try but not so bizarre that you're afraid to take a chance. I have tried several items there that have expanded my palate. The ambiance is nice and the service is excellent.

Nice looking place, okay food, but I have no intention of going back. The drinks were good though. Be careful of you order the turkey sandwich, it comes open-faced and is sloppy.

FourHourWindow, We appreciate the feedback from your visit to The Blue Goat and I regret to say that it seems we dropped the ball here. We strive to have nothing but a pristine and fresh product and a service staff that exceeds all our guests expectations. We are disappointed that we failed to accomplish this with you and your party.... More

I like this place. The atmosphere is relaxed and you can take your time which was important to us as we were meeting some friends for the first time (yes I know that sounds weird but blame Words with Friends!). Our waitress was attentive but not clawing and we ordered each course in turn yet the food appeared promptly. This... More

I went here with my husband and father and it was very nice. My dad is very noise sensitive, so it was a bit loud for him inside. They do have a patio with some tables, but they were full when we got there. Not an overly expansive menu, but good variety. We started with the fried green tomato appetizer.... More

Came by on a Saturday evening around 7 PM. Ate at the bar. It was a very hot day however, it was not packed inside though, we were probably on the early side and it probably picks up into the evening. I had the margarita pizza with fresh mozzarella, the crust was perfect. The only knock I’ll give is that... More

Perfect neighborhood place. Small, but great menu. Good selection of draft and wine. Very satisfying spot.

On the way to the Continental, just a few doors down, only to find there was a 25 minute wait, my wife and I groaned, but then glanced to see that The Blue Goat was available. A good crowd for a Tuesday night, but lots of space. Having not tried this place, we crossed our fingers after looking at the... More

This was our second visit, the first was in 2013, when the food was more adventurous(was very tasty then too!). The decor has a farm-industrial vibe. We were greeted promptly, the lunch rush was just beginning. The brunch menu had your staples: eggs Benedict, shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles. We had a house salad, hot brown , and burger.... Came during Sunday brunch. Ordered fried green tomato appetizer and I was not impressed. It was layered with pimento cheese, tasso ham, pickles and red pepper jam - way too much going on - could not appreciate any single flavor. For our main meal, we chose to share a burger - the flavor was great and we enjoyed the french... More
