Been several times. Great food and drinks. Service was average and the happy hour is the best in town. Go with dates. Friends. Family or co workers. It's a great little spot. Enjoy and go back often. I do.

I frequently buy business meals at Europa and the food is always good. If you have a larger group, they can make arrangements to seat you downstairs. The wait staff is great and friendly. We don't buy tapas but buy normal dinners, I particularly like the tuna, steaks and ribs. They take group reservations and are easy to work with.

Unlike the recent reviewers, I found this place quite nice. The atmosphere is very welcoming, the food is quite reasonable, though a bit pricey for its quality and quantity. I loved their large selection of local beers, which are well worth trying. Besides that, I have nothing bad to say about the service. Overall, it was a good experience and... More

Quick and easy date night for my husband and me. We stopped in on a Saturday night and found it was not too busy. We were seated immediately and enjoyed several different tapas, selecting from the a la carte menu instead of the full entree. We left completely full! The bacon wrapped dates were good, the hanger steak kebabs delicious,... More

Having heard good reviews and wanting something a little different, we visited Europa for tapas/dinner to celebrate our friend's birthday this past Friday. We had reservations and groupons, and arrived on time. We were practically shoved into a tiny corner despite the availability of numerous larger tables, which were not occupied, and we were denied the opportunity to move because... More

I've visited Europa many times before over the years with good results, however, my last visit was horrible, made the mistake of ordering an entree on the small plate special discount 3-for-1 night. Service was excellent but the food and drink not up to par, The mojito was bland, weak and unflavorful, tried the aragula salad but it was dowsed... More

We popped into on a rainy Sunday night at 9pm while in Richmond for a conference. They had already sent some staff home and were overwhelmed at first. Some items on the menu were understandably unavailable but we ended up getting plenty of great food and wine. I picked up the tab... $222 for 8 people. It was a great... More

We were looking for a place to eat during our first night in Richmond, and Europa looked interesting. It is very casual here. We ate at the bar and Chris, our bartender and knew everything there was to know about the dishes on the menu. We started with a a couple of tapas dishes. One of them was an artichoke... More

There were four of us, two of us really enjoyed our meals. I made a dinner out of the Garlic Shrimp and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had the Signature starter which was really good. The clams and mussels with linguine the mussels were bait overcooked. My friends paella looked really good in the way it was served but did... More
