I have been to this restaurant many times with Indian and non-Indian friends. Ambience and service is good. Food quality - Meat (chicken, lamb) is ALWAYS ,ALWAYS undercooked and extremely. dry. This has been my experience in every visit. I have stopped going there. Vegetarian dishes and biryani are flavorful and taste good, but do not order non-vegetarian food.

This is one of our favorites in all of richmond. Took my wife there for dinner the night I proposed. The atmosphere is great and so is the food. Great prices for what you get, especially at lunch. The wait staff is the real highlight.... They are courteous, quick, and very friendly. Bottom line you should try this place even... More

I visited Anohka last week, with some trepidations - I expected something that was merely 'trendy', and a bit pricey, but nothing special by way of the actual food. What a delightful surprise! The service was excellent, the food superb - the best vin d';alho I have had, and properly prepared - and the prices were very reasonable. The decor... More

Love this restaurant but have come mostly for lunch. In April my husband and I dines with another couple and the grilled lamb chops are some of the best I have ever had. Loved dinner, service and cost.

Anokha is definitely one the best Indian restaurants that I have been to in US. The ambience is great and the food is superb. The style of cooking and the flavor is highly commendable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone would like to get introduced to Indian style of cooking...

If you LOVE Indian food, you should try Anoka. Bold Flavorful food. The crispy cauliflower is absolutely delightful. Sauces served with the Naan were fresh and bold. Can't wait to visit again.

My wife and I love Anokha. The food is top-notch: We usually go with samosas to start and then lamb korma or chicken tikka masala for mains. Always excellent, especially the rice. Service has always been good when we are there, but we have never been in the middle of a lunch or weekend dinner rush. Anokha is not cheap;... More

Four of us had lunch at Anokha and it was all around excellent...the service, ambiance and the food. The food was very fresh, elegantly spiced and not overcooked. We have had Indian food around the world from Singapore to India to the UK and we highly recommend.

Having lived in London England, where Indian Restaurants have a reputation for being some of the "best in the world" I can honestly say that Anokha holds its own and belongs in this same category for the best Indian Food. I have eaten there at least 8 times already and have introduced many of my friends to this restaurant. The... More
