Been here several times for small plates and wine and always been supremely happy with both as well as the friendly staff that helps me try new wines without ever seeming condescending. The menu is tapas with a lot of local and house made ingredients and I'm always a big fan of a cheese plate where l get to pick... More

I was travelling alone on business and had dinner at the bar on a quiet February weeknight. It was quite cold for Richmond and the restaurant was quiet, which suited me fine since it left room at the bar for me. I had dinner at the bar, talking off and on with the staff who were very friendly and knowledgable... More

Love eating in this tiny, warm restaurant. The bar staff, wait staff, and kitchen staff are the best! Very attentive, helpful, and fun. And the food is amazing. Always something different to try as the executive chef is great and uses local and seasonal resources.

I had a nice glass of wine at Secco with colleagues. The service was above average. I would return the next time I'm in Richmond.

We stopped at Secco wine bar late Saturday afternoon. The place was fairly busy. We were promptly greeted, but since we were there for "just one" drink our seating options were limited to either a communal table or the bar. Fortunately there were 2 spots open at the bar. The wine bar has a selection of about 20 wines, which... More

Oddly loud for a wine bar. Exceeds "intimate" and becomes "crowded" - you're practically in the laps of the people around you. Has an odd smell. We found the service to be very good, and liked the cork-top tables. There are some interesting wines but not a huge selection for a wine bar. Prices are reasonable. Not a bad time... More

Consistently rude staff. Consistently rude staff. Consistently rude staff. Consistently rude staff. Consistently rude staff. Never again. I can purchase wine elsewhere.

We love this little place in our hometown. There just isn't anything bad on this menu and of course the wine (and beer selection) is great. There are small plates on the menu that are out of this world and we generally start with a few of those and keep ordering until we are full or have to go. It's... More

We had a wonderful lunch in this great place. They had lots of choices of wine and beer but the best part for a me was the salad I had. The chef made it to my request with scrambled egg whites on top and the dressing on the side. It was so fresh tasting and delicious! Great service from our... More

My wife was out of town, so I decided to go out for some dinner and a few glasses of wine. I wanted to try something new so I went to Secco and sat at the bar. I had a five course tasting menu and paired different wines with the dishes. The food was creative and delicious and was appropriately... More
