Great choice for a glass of wine

We are in town for a short visit and had a list of a few areas and attractions to visit. Carytown was on the list and we wandered into this place. The wine selection was a bit limited, but the Pinot Noir was great as was the wait staff. We may be back for dinner.

We have been here countless times at this point, and it's our go to place when in Carytown. And we are down here often. The girls are great- Cassie, Tessa, Caroline all greet us with a smile and their fabulous knowledge of the old world wines they serve. The food is also extremely satisfying and I'm thinking the chefs fly... More

What a fun location! We had a wonderful time enjoying the thoughtful selection of wines by the glass. The options are posted on a chalkboard above the bar, so I assume the list changes often. The choices were not the boring ones you find on every wine list. It was fun to try new wines. We thoroughly our selections. The... More

Secco is just a fun place to try a variety of different wines and small plates with friends, We have been here several times and always find a new interesting wine to try. The small plate offerings are also well done.

Excellent place to pair cheese and charcuterie, giant selection of wines, reds, whites and bubbles. The salmon spread and the fried chick peas deserve an order. However if you are with the beloved one try to have your own table.

I was surprised how enjoyable this wine bar was. Small, very relaxed, with a limited but varied and carefully selected wine list, and plates for sharing. I had a riesling from Austria and a barbera d'alba from Piemonte, both were excellent examples. For plates we had the hamburger, which my son considered outstanding, the bison ribs, polenta with mushrooms, and... More

This wine bar was excellent! The menu is quite small and based on small plates, cheese and meats, with a fantastic selections of wines. The service was incredible with a server that was very friendly and knowledgeable about every aspect of both the food and wine menu. It's exactly what a wine bar should be and a real little gem... This is a quaint wine bar is located on a street full of activities. The building itself is smaller than we expected but we were greeted promptly when we first walked in. Our waitress, Caroline, was nice and knowledgeable. We had the 5 course tasting menu which was prepared by the sous chef and he did a superb job. The... More

We have been to Seco several times and each time it has exceeded our expectations. The place is intimate even though it is always packed. The staff know the wines and typically make an excellent recommendation based on the patron's preferences. The food is excellent and unique and the service is always top notch. It is somewhat pricey but we... More

Secco is usually one of my favorites. Interesting wines. surprisingly great food. friendly helpful wait staff. One exception: the last time I visited the wait staff seemed almost annoyed by the customers. They offered very little help with wine selection. They refused to seat us until our full party was there despite that less than a quarter of their tables... More
