This place is a winner. Started with the cheese plate, potted cheese was phenomenal. The smoked salmon sandwich on rye was delicious, along with the French potato salad and black eyed pea salad. Service was fast and friendly. This is a lovely neighborhood place, will return

Cute little café just a block off of Monument Avenue. Although the food smelled delicious, we just wanted a cup of coffee. The waitress allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. The small restaurant was busseling and upbeat. A gem.

All the reviews here are good but I've heard several people say they don't care for it. I think that's all about expectations because there's nothing quite like it! This is a sandwich shop which now has a liquor license which adds a lot. Wonderful, sometimes rare sandwich selections. I don't know of another place in Richmond to grab a... More

I love this place and bring anyone who visits from out of town here. It's a quaint little corner shop tucked away in the museum district with friendly hostesses and a great cook. They have homemade pies and cakes, also, which are fantastic. The food is priced decently and they even have free wifi if you need it. There's not... More

I always take visitors to Garnett's Cafe when they come to Richmond. The quaint corner cafe in the middle of The Fan with its delicious sandwiches on wonderful bread is a mainstay. The soups are wonderful, too.

Garnett's Cafe is one of my favorite spots when I hunger for a great sandwich. The menu has a generous selection along with homemade soups that really hit the spot. Tucked into The Fan, it's charming and just wonderful.

This is a great stop in your looking for a sandwich and casual meal in the Fan area. It also has an affordable happy hour with wine and snacks. It is in a cute part of town with a little park across the street. If you’re looking for something affordable, cute, and casual I think this is a go-to place.

This adorable little place was tucked away on the corner of a gorgeous little block on Richmond. The food was fast and cheap but nothing short of terrific. My waitress Naomi was sweet and knowledgeable took good care of me. Their california club was great but the dessert was what sealed the deal. I wish I lived in town so... More

Cute little cafe on the corner in the Fan. Great service and good food! They have a nice selection of sandwiches, salad, and soups and are always busy when we stop by. The waitress was very attentive and offered us more coffee and tea.

This place has the best sandwich menu in town, hands down, with inventive & unique combinations. The menu is limited to sandwiches, soups, salads & desserts. Why the reluctant review? Because this charming corner cafe is tiny, and selfish me doesn't want you to get the last available table. Garnett's is quaint & intimate, so don't try to drag a... More
