Heard great things, took shuttle from hotel to the restaurant and looked great. Went to order breakfast with friends with little crowds in the place and they told us they were out of eggs because they were busy and didn't have time to make more till someone came in. I said I'd wait a few minutes and they said no.... More

A hip, environmentally-aware restaurant, with prices to match. Which is to say, it's not cheap. But it is good! We had a relaxed dinner, with a few glasses of wine, *great* soup, and sandwiches. I'd gladly go back.

The farmhouse has opened a third location in Church Hill, not far from our home. It is located in the basement of the newly renovated Lava Loft apartments. The layout is a bit chopped up, not an open venue like the Shockoe (downtown) location, but nonetheless it works. It does not have the same unique feel with the large beams,... More

The vibe here is very hipster & relaxed. The food I find nothing to glow about. As a vegeteraian I was hoping this place would give me new options. The weird hummus sand which I had was bland in taste & color. The black bean soup was unremarkable. Edible but blah. I'm sure if you're having coffee this place is... More

Good food, great Sunday morning music and people watching. Oh, and free internet too! And it was cool to know that it was mostly all local food.

We pick up breakfast on the way out of Richmond at this hip spot just down from the Berleley Hotel. Healthy choices, creative sandwiches and the to-go packaging is just beautiful--carefully "plated" in boxes, I get tickled every time I open one. Definitely worth the stop. The lox & cream cheese with fresh dill is my favorite.

Fabulous lemon Caesar chicken salad! Wonderful gluten free options. We enjoyed dinner so much that we returned the next night.

We never miss an opportunity to eat at Urban Farmhouse when we visit Richmond. The menu makes you feel healthy just looking at it! The freshness of the food is apparent and the pairings are delicious. The atmosphere is organic college tree hugger rather than fine dining, which is fun! We love it and highly recommend it.

whilst on holiday in Richmond we came upon the Urban Farmhouse. What a find. Great breakfast and lunch combinations available at very good prices. Free Wifi and papers. Nice atmosphere and lots of goodies for sale.

A group of us stopped in for lunch while touring Richmond after a wedding. The restaurant is very historic looking, with high ceilings, large windows and brick walls. If you have a car, park around the corner in the underground garage. The food was good (though not great., With enormous windows and locally sourced food it reminded me of my... More
