Good pizza

We visited Stuzzi before attending a concert. Each ordered a pizza (4 slices) and a salad. The salads took a long time to come and were just greens with shaved cheese. Order just one - they're big enough to share. The Forte pizza was tasty with plenty of toppings. Two slices was all I needed... read more

I've eaten at Stuzzi many times, and it has never been this unorganized. I ordered a carafe of wine and a pizza. The wrong wine came to the table (the server explained that the bartender wasn't paying attention and made the wrong thing, even though she sent the ticket through twice) . The wine I ordered was white, the one... More

Enjoyed lunch at first visit to Stuzzi. Party tried both traditional crust and grandma's square pan recipe. Both crusts light and crisp. Excellent fresh tomato sauce and plenty of it--just a little heavy on the garlic for me. Really good homemade mozzarella. Topped with lots of fresh basil. Good and fast service. Kids enjoyed watching pizzas being assembled and slid... More

BRING THE ROOMMATES! - great food - great price - and a lot of fun! Original and really good Italian fare. The staff is so accommodating and the owner is a "trip". Great friendly place that won't break the bank - so take the roommates!

Honestly, the waiters are not so fast and alert, but the owner of the restaurant is adorable and funny! I've just eaten pizza there but I can definitely say that it's one of the best italian pizza in Richmond!

We have eaten at Stuzzi before and enjoyed it thoroughly. In fact, I wrote a review about it. Based on that past experience, we brought my sister-in-law and her two kids (7 and 4) to Stuzzi because - what kid doesn't like pizza and pasta? That depends on the quality of the food I guess. Not one of us -... More

Stuzzi is a landmark in Richmond. They have the best pizza I've ever had in the city. But since I'm Italian I feel like I should specify that despite it's known as an Italian restaurant they don't really have Italian food. What you can find in the Menu is a variety of dishes of the italian-american tradition (No one in... More

The pizza was awesome!! Just what I wanted. We moved to Richmond from DC a few months ago and have been tirelessly searching for good pizza and we finally found it! The crust was flavorful and thin as good DOC pizza should be. The sauce is incredibly fresh, garlicky, and slightly salty and the toppings so flavorful and fresh! The... More

What a disappointing experience. The calamari organata did not match the menu description or what it was supposed to be and it was in edible. The pizza forte was soggy on the bottom. My cheese ravioli were ok with a skimpy amount of marinara ( a requested substitution). They did remove the calamari from the bill and the zeppole for... More

Good Pizza is hard to find in Virginia. This place is on par with greats like Pepe's in New England. The complaints about the crust must be from readers who are accustomed to the 90% crust 10% topping varieties that come from big chain pizza places. Truly good pizza has more toppings than bread and that is the case at... More
