Great place

The food here is outstanding. Honestly the best sandwiches I have ever had. They make their own pickled veggies and each sandwich has a unique sauce and flavor. Don't order a full size one as it is two feet long!

We stopped in after 4PM on a Sunday to find only two tables available - one in the window and one in the center of the quaint and charming room. We opted for the table in the center of the room to get a 360 view of all the original painting and curios covering the walls. I'm thankful for the... More

My family and I ate here on a Sunday night. We arrived around 7:15 pm and got a table for four with no wait. We ordered three different "battleship" sandwiches. All the sandwiches were good. We like the USS Santana the best. I would return to this restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient.

We had a great meal here on a Saturday. There was a 30 minute wait for a table, but we enjoyed some adult beverages while waiting on the back patio. Four of us split two 'half' sandwiches - one had jerk chicken and the other was incredibly tender steak. So so good. And that bread!

We were mighty hungry which is the best spice and The Black Sheep was the ticket. I can't wait to visit again.

Omg this food. I need to try all of their massive sandwiches. You can "jump ship" and get the sandwich as a salad, which I prefer, and you don't have to feel weird asking for no bread.

Mostly sandwiches. Had my doubts but this place turn out to be good. The taste was different from what I was expecting. They had siracha.

Battleship is the name of the game: giant sub sandwiches no mortal man or woman could devour alone. The restaurant is a small, unassuming eatery in a neighborhood where the Richmond police politely remind you via signage that they are not responsible for theft from your vehicle. This restaurant is built for smaller groups. I wouldn't recommend doing more than... More

Anytime I am driving past Richmond (this time on my way to the Keys) I stop here for the USS Brooklyn. This is my favorite sandwich on earth. Jerk chicken, peach chutney, roasted banana ketchup and cabbage. It is amazing! Call about twenty minutes from the city, hop off 95, pick up the sandwich and get back on the road!... More

My husband and I came here for lunch. It is very small and is frequently on a wait. The subs are huge and delicious. The pimento cheese sandwich with avocado was yummy! My husband ordered a ginger beer and he raved about it all the way home. We would definitely come back here again. Everything that was coming out looked... More
