Very good Indian Food -but not cheap

Surprised to find an Indian restaurant in Short Pump Mall . Very nice décor and quite spacious. Had the dal tadka, garlic naan and goat malvani (on the bone which is not common). All good with goat a bit rich in sauce. Enjoyable meal $51 for single visit.

I recently moved to Henrico and happen to visit this restaurant twice in the last 2 months... the experience at best I would say has been disappointing. Two occasions of dining and I found them lacking both the times. The first time I was here for early dinner and ordered a few appetizers - Samosa and Chaat - It was... More

I'm here often and the food is always impeccable. The owner is very friendly and always willing to help pick a wine or guide someone new to Indian food to a good dish. The desserts are also wonderful.

Lehja is to Indian Food what Mortons is to Steaks. Service surroundings quality of food and everything else are absolutely steller. What is amazing in Richmond is that you have such great restaurants for a small city. Lehja, Peter Changs, Stellas, etc are some of the best ethnic cuisines EVER ANYWHERE. You really will not go wrong.

Not what you'd expect at a mall, but Lehja isn't an ordinary Indian restaurant. You won't find a lengthy menu of traditional Indian meals, instead you'll find one page of some of the best contemporary Indian food in the area, and if you don't see what you want, ask Sunny and the kitchen fix it for you. Sunny is always... More

I had the chicken tikka masala and the lamb kabob appetizer. The rice was excellent and so was the naan. I order the spicy and it was really hot but it was also very good. If your not into spicy you can ask for less spice. The service was very good. I was really full after eating here. If your... More

Went to Lehja for an early New Years Eve dinner. Lehja is small, "cozy" might be a good word. If you sit close to the front door be prepared to get a blast of cold air every time the door opens. On to the food. Had the appetizer special, at the recommendation of our waiter. It was by far the... More

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the USA and one of the best I've had anywhere. My wife and I have been coming here since they first opened and each time Sunny and his staff exceed our highest expectations. The variety of food is eclectic, aromatic and sinfully tasteful. The service is always excellent and the atmosphere is welcoming,... More

This was our first trip here. Warm welcome, nice atmosphere --a bit noisy but only because they were busy. Well appointed bar, good draft beer selection and pretty decent wine list esp. by glass. Had some questions about menu and was guided through them nicely with some good recommendations. Service was very good and attentive. My wife out -ordered me... More
