This restaurant is a little different as apparently the food is "northern Indian" as apposed to "southern Indian" at least that's what we wee told by our waiter who was very friendly and eager to explain the difference. The food was very good not as spicy as we are used to from other Indian restaurants but never there less very... More

My wife and I took an out of town guest to one if our favorite restaurants. We have eaten there on several special occasions and always been delighted . The food was as good as always, particularly the tomato coconut soup and sauces with the entrees. However, we requested our Naan with the soup and were told they brought that... More

Absolutely fantastic. I think it's better than Spice of India was. Service was excellent. Lamb curry was great but could've been a bit spicier. Good wine selection and reasonable prices. Razz did a good job. We'll be back soon.

Really good food and staff, good atmosphere. The chef takes care to produce fresh food and very nice regional Indian sauces. I thought the prices were a little high, especially compared to other Indian restaurants. If you like it spicy you have to insist you can take it. They back down the spice to suit the typical American palate I'm... More

We visited Lehja to celebrate a family birthday. It turned out to be a real treat! The food is much lighter than we expected buts still had the flavorful spiciness one expects in Indian cuisine. They recommended dishes for the children and tailored the heat accordingly. The manager spent a good deal of time chatting with us and brought samples... More

We had 2 tasty appetizers, chaat and the gobhi, with the most amazing drinks (black cherry old fashion and the snake charmer margarita). Our entrees were seafood curry and tandoori cod. Both of those were wonderful, and paired with very nice wines. The mushroom and truffle oil naan was unbelievable. Service was warm, helpful, and well timed. It was a... More

My family and I had Christmas dinner at Lehja. This was our first time here. Everyone we came in contact with from start to finish was extremely friendly. The restaurant is beautiful. Our server was very helpful, suggesting items we might like. LOVED the Gobhi Manchurian cauliflower! The chicken in my Tikka Masala was so tender. Unbelievable flavor. We will... More

They have perfectly nailed the north Indian cuisine with almost all the specialties from that region. Don't have much though from South India.

I've been hearing about Lehja for quite a while, and it took too long to get here. But was it ever worth the time. Great interior design and decor, great service (including very personal service from the manager -- "here, if you like that, let me get you a taste of something else we make, you might like it next... Went with some friends during restaurant week; the food was well prepared, and the service was good. I asked for the hottest spice level on my food, but instead got NO spicyness whatsoever. Disappointing, since I wanted to see how hot they prepare their food, but otherwise, no complaints.
