Looked after by Francesco who spoke great English having worked in London. This is a lovely and quite inexpensive restaurant with lovely pasta dishes and great local wines by the litre carat. Six of us had a lovely meal here tonight and were very happy with the food, wine and service. Best latte I've had yet this week also!

We were very lucky to find a restaurant open as it was Christmas Eve and quite late. We were very happy to find such a gem! Once we had tasted the Bruschetta we couldn't wait for the rest of our meal. The Lasagne was one of the best we have ever had and the Cannoli was better than Zia's (but... More

Food is good, staff are friendly and helpful (we had a time limit, since we had to meet someone at Palermo airport, and waitress was on top of this).,

The menu is reasonably priced indeed but the food is simply no good! I am not sure if they changed the chef or if the food has always been like this but i have to disagree with most of the reviews! Cannot recommend the place sorry

I was at this restaurant twice during my short first visit to Sicily - and both visits were a great experience food-wise and service-wise. Friendly owner with good English skills and very nice personnel with good humor. The food was excellent, especially the fish dishes which I personally prefers. The variety for kids also is very good. Best recommendations from... More

I'll start with the good things: very friendly owner, and an excellent pasta with almond pesto and tomato. Also good bruschetta. Unfortunately, a fairly bland pasta norma and a disappointing caponata (we had much better in the rest of our trip). Maybe i should have chosen some fish dish instead...

This was nearest restaurant to our hotel and was a great little lunchtime respite, the food was good and very fresh.TheItlian lady co owner had spent her earlier years in Manchester and returned to Sicily later,so understanding the menue was very easy, a very pleasant lunchtime for the two of us.

We had dinner at L'Isola del Gusto tonight and were very much taken by the quality of the restaurant, the preparation and presentation of the food combined with very reasonable prices. We have been travelling around Sicily for 4 weeks now and this was certainly one of our most enjoyable dining experiences. What was a surprise was the cost of... More

We (2 persons) visited L'Isola del Gusto on Saturday evening of the 20th October, and we thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience. The restaurant is situated in a busy road that leads to the waterfront, and although no views can be enjoyed, the ambience is fine, whilst the food and service is second to none. We arrived at 20:30hrs and although... More

Exellent restaurant, may be the best in Castellammare del Golfo. The level of service, quality of the food - everything was perfect. Seefood was exellent. Very friendly staff. If I ever come to Castellammare, I'll come to L'Isola del Gusto, of course.
