Yesterday I had the best scorfano (scorpion fish) I have eaten in my life. A surprise in Ustica where it is difficult to get good food.
If you like nouvelle cuisine don't come here. If you are in a hurry neither. This is the Temple of Ustica slow food! All dishes are made just for you, it takes time. Fresh fish, local produce, local organic wines (try Hibiscus l'Isola or the great Zibibbo Passito for dessert). Simple, "wise", home-like cooking from signora Giovanna and her aids,... More
Excellent fish and service at very good value for money for fresh fish and seafood. This was confirmed also by local fishermen. Umberto e Giovanna offers you only what Ustica sea gave to fishermen. Home red wine is very good. They also have an excellent selection of Donna Fugata wines. We went three evenings in a row.
