Great rustic Italian food

"Mi scuzi, mi non parlo Italiano" was my opening gambit. No probs for the waiters they just cracked on and brought us everything from the set menu! This was a refreshing change from the usual restaurant experience. No wine list. No agonising over the menu, just: this is what we serve, eat it... read more

For what you pay this is amazing. 32€ you get an assortment of Antipasto, all different little tastes of what is produced here from cold meats to different cheeses. Then two types of home made pasta - both delicious. Thirdly, the pork with roasted potatoes... If we could've fit more in we would have agreed to more as the waiters... More

You need a car to get there, the road is not so smooth.. Apart from this, it is the best place to eat! You have a fixed menu for everyone for 32 euros (really cheap for what they offer). The ingredients are really good and mostly everything is bio. highly recommended. It's the real sardinian food!

It was an amazing experience, from the moment we got there until we left. Meal costs 32 euro per person, and it consists of 3 courses, desert, wine. coffee and digestive, You cannot eat as much as they are able to provide, and everything is locally made or locally grown. I suggest to book in advance, as is always full.

I really don't get what the fuss is about. We travelled all over Italy and the islands for many years and this really was not a memorable meal. Stintino caters nearly exclusively for tourists so in this sense this place is a bit different and serves a different more authentic style of food. The cold meats were of very average... More

We were on our way home back from exploring some beaches in the area when we came across a sign for this place and decided to try it out. It turned out we were very fortunate as it was just the time when they were about to start serving and they had one spare table left. What followed was a... More

Starter was different kinds of home made meat and homemade cheese with bread and vegatables. Alle delicious. 2nd was gnochhi and stuffed ravioli also ver good. Main was toasted pork and lamb... Having arrived in low season and finding many places shut, it was a relief that we got a reservation here as the food was wonderful. There is no menu, they just bring out course after course of traditional Sardinian food, starting with platters of cooked meats, cheeses, cured vegetables, bruschetta and breads that would constitute a meal in other places... So much more than we were expecting. A large complex with multiple dining rooms, and some out door seating Started by standing near the open fire (where the pigs were roasting), drinking wine and eating local cheese and bread). Then when space was available, we moved to our table where we ate our way through the 11 dishes that were... More

This place is ideal for those who like their food otherwise you may not find it as good value. An evening at this agriturismo starts with several plates of antipasti including stuffed zucchini flowers, fresh ricotta, various cold cuts, and stuffed aubergines. Next came out the pasta which included ricotta stuffed ravioli as well as a really tasty pasta and... More
