I don't know why we left this restaurant until our last night - I don't normally like eating in places attached to Hotels - not sure why - Anyway after a local recommendation we went. Well this was probably our best gastronomic experience in many years of visiting the island - and we have eaten some pretty good food there.... More

We had an excellent experience from start to finish. We booked a table for the following evening & the owner very kindly arranged a taxi to & from the hotel. The flying starters comprised a plate (each) with 4 small fish/seafood items including razor fish, anchovies and a white fish. This was accompanied by 3 other sharing dishes: aubergine, peppers... I Loved the atmosphere and the super kind owners the waiters were very professional and yet made you feel at ease but the food oh the food is excellent!! Start with Antipasto della casa a mix of wonderful fish and other delicacies and then order the Home made cheese Ravioli with a hint of Orange and lemon in a fresh... More

Stayed at the start of july with two small children. Hotel is in a beautiful setting and is lovely inside. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, we wish we'd booked for longer! Even if you don't stay here, eat in the restaurant. Some of the best food I've had in a long time, fresh... More

Lovely setting, attentive staff, delicious food, excellent value. 30 euros for 3 courses - mezze of starters selected by the chef, a choice of several delicious fresh pasta dishes and dessert. For 40 euros you can add another course of fresh fish or meat. Everything was delicious and they had clearly put a lot of thought into the whole experience.

We booked for lunch and ended up being the only ones and having the whole terrace, and staff to ourselves. We were greeted at the door by a smiling woman telling us she knows who we are and she was awaiting our arrival. She walked us out to the lovely, quaint terrace overlooking the pool. It is a wonderful ambiance.... More

We ate 4 dinners and 2 lunches here while staying in the hotel in the same building - all of these were superb and Mario charmingly guided us through the day's offerings. A full on Italian meal can be a challenge, especially as Mario's 'flying starters' could comprise 6 separate dishes even before the primo, secondi and dessert. We managed... More

We spent our last evening eating at Locanda Sant Andrea and had an amazing experience. Very charming and friendly staff, very tasty local dishes and great wine. The surprise menu we got consisted of 5 starters and a 'primi' of our choice (each out of the 4 options with handmade pasta) and a dessert. (Unluckily we had to skip the... More

We ate twice at Locanda Andrea as we were staying there too, but I suggest they are an excellent choice for diners staying elsewhere. Right in the heart of very charming San Pantaleo, and if you get there early enough before sundown, you get the view of the mountains out the front window of the 2nd floor restaurant. A daily...
