We stayed in Porto Rotondo for 4 nights in July and ate at Da Giovannino every day after we discovered them - we kept coming back! This place is perfect for lunch and dinner. Very cozy, family style where the chef is...a mom! owner of this place so you can just imagine! Everyone made us feel like home. Best pasta... More

Had dinner here last week, having had loads of fish during our stay we had steak and fries. Whilst the fries were cooking you smell that the oil was past it's best! Fillet in mustard sauce was not pleasant

Great people great food! Great vermentino! :) we were in sardinia for week or so but we kept on turning back to Da Gioavanino. Harika insanlar ve mukemmel yemek. Sarap menuleri de etkileyici ve keyifliydi.

We are major foodies and Da Giovannino stood head and shoulders above everything else we experienced during our stay in Sardinia. Sadly we were unable to visit again as would have loved to try more dishes, and had some more of the incredible strawberry tiramisu and home made ice creams. The maître d could be slightly more cheerful however :)... More

The food is amazing -- family owned restaurant that grows each ingredient and makes every component by hand from the pasta to the gelato. The service is incredible and the food is outstanding. I have been to some of the best restaurants from Guy Savoy in Paris to the French Laundry in Napa and although the food is entirely different... More

Definitely the best dinner I had in a very long time! The food was delicious.. I had a tuna tartare which was phenomenal and a first course of gnocchetti with shrimps and pesto that left me without words. The staff was very kind and professional and the whole atmosphere made our night one of the most memorable throughout our whole... More

Restaurant "Da Giovannino" is a piece of history of Porto Rotondo, it’s synonymous of excellence in the Italian culinary art and in particular of its original Sardinian and Venetian cuisine. Like no other restaurant in Costa (including the historic sites of Porto Cervo) this restaurant chronicles the birth and development of Porto Rotondo and Costa Smeralda and has served and... More

We booked a table in advance to have a dinner for 2. Since the very beginning we entered the room, we had the feeling of being not welcome. I must say that however food was really nice, fresh seafood, homemade, done with love. There's a dark haired man wearing spectacles that was specially unpleasant treating us like ignorant foreigners that... More

we started attending this restaurant in the wild days of north-western wind (maestrale-mistral), when the sea ravages the shores of porto rotondo and we find a refuge in the quiet gulf of Marinella, with its crowded but splendid sandy seashore. at noon, the restaurant is very quiet an intimate. by night it is usually visited by many people. however, the... By far the most elegant venue in Porto Rotondo. Definitely one of the best desserts I ever ate - the strawberry tiramisu was a dream! Classy, great food, an exquisite dinner.
