Had dinner here last night and truly enjoyed the north atlantic salmon that I ordered. Having read other reviews and the talk about the salmon were what convinced me that I should order it. I was completely pleased with it. The roasted garlic, red pepper quinoa that it was served with was SO good. My husband ordered the vegetarian special... More

Ambiance, service and food were excellent. Of special highlight was our server, Tracie, who was one of the best we've ever had. I took her recommendation of the broiled scallops with mushrooms and mashed potatoes -- an exceptional choice. Rachel went with the strip loin, also delicious. For appetizer we ordered 10 raw oysters, which were delivered perfectly -- shucked... More

This 4th of July weekend was fraught with rain, wind and t-storms. We missed the worst of it prior to seeing the Spinners play on the 3rd. We then set off for some libations and food. KW wanted to visit the oldest bar in Lowell - Old Worthen House Cafe. So one quick drink and then off to Cobblestones. It... More

Went here this past weekend and sat outside on the patio, which was really nice and relaxed. Service was a little on the slow side, but we weren't in a rush so we still really enjoyed ourselves. Had a couple of beers, oysters and blackened shrimp for our apps. The food is my favorite thing about Cobblestones; I've never had... More

We've eaten here before as a couple, but never as a large group and never immediately after a high school graduation held in the nearby Tsongas Arena. There wasn't an empty seat in the dining room and all the parties had arrived at the same time. But our service was attentive, timely, polite, and patient (with elderly patrons and allergy... More

Went for a business dinner at this interesting downtown Lowell, MA eatery (see history in last parapgraph). There is a bar area with flat panel if you want to hang out and drink or just dine solo. If you have a companion and time, there is a nice dining room with linen covered tables and some finer decor. For dinner... More

This charming Inn, restaurant and bar is a hidden treasure indeed. They food is wonderful and never a disappointment. Their mushroom flatbread is delicious and the Chicken Marcela one of the best I've ever had with really good mashed potatoes. The prices are much less than what you'd find in the greater Boston area. We go there often.

The chili and clam chowder were good, the mixed greens were good but many leaves were wilted, the main courses were good but were served just as we started eating the salad, the steak had to be returned to be cooked because we ordered it medium-rare and it was rare, and the bread was stale. The restaurant needs a manager... More

I've eaten here several times and I've had more beer at the bar there then I can remember. Nice people at Cobblestones and if the weather is good you can sit outside. Since I moved away I'll miss this place

Cobblestones offers two types of dining experiences, a casual, fun bar and a more formal dining room. I have enjoyed both. The service is good and friendly and I have not been disappointed in the food. The short ribs are wonderful and the last time I was there two of my dining companions raved about the macaroni and cheese. The... More
