Description: With most of the original architecture intact, COBBLESTONES Restaurant...
With most of the original architecture intact, COBBLESTONES Restaurant offers a variety of dining and drinking options, modified for modern use. What was once the "Grand Billiard Hall" is now the main dining room. The original library has given way to a private dining room seating 20 and is adorned with twin fireplaces while the upstairs sleeping rooms have been opened up for two beautiful function rooms. The original dining room, where "the gentlemen" enjoyed a brandy and cigar is now a separate pub with a vast selection of martini's, classic American cocktails, draught beers, and a predominantly American Wine list. COBBLESTONES Restaurant cuisine combines both traditional comfort and regionally inspired American fare alongside contemporary selections. Our many steaks are hand cut and our seafood is delivered fresh daily. All soups, sauces and desserts are made fresh, "in house" every day. Please visit COBBLESTONES Restaurant where our welcoming staff carries on a tradition of excellence and hospitality. Committed to our guest's satisfaction, we will always strive to exceed your expectations!

Fine Dining in Lowell

I chose this establishment on Open Table and found it to be quite excellent and housed in a building that served as a boarding house in 1859. The service was a little slow and the knowledge of the menu by the waiter was a challenge. Ordered a few drinks in their bar and the ambiance was quite... read more

Cobblestones houses one of my all time favorite bars and I make stopping in a must anytime I find myself traveling to Lowell. The warm and inviting atmosphere creates the perfect place to relax and enjoy some of the area's best food and drinks. Bartenders and servers are always attentive and friendly. Always an experience to look forward to whenever... More

This place is a lot like some other northeast places I have been. They have a great space and good location, but suffer on the good food and value end of things. I might have a drink in the bar, but would not order any food. Prices were higher than they should be. A very basic cheese burger was $12.99... More

After an agonizing search for parking, finally got inside - peaceful, clean setting, excellent service. At night, the restaurant looks closed. My GPS did not take me there but a block away. But once inside - The food is great, loved the blackened shrimp (should have ordered one to go!). Had a steak that was great, took some home in... More

We went to look at UMass Lowell for my son and decided to stop at Cobblestones for lunch. We sat in the bar area because the other area seemed a bit higher class than what we wanted at that time. I mostly drink IPA when I have a beer and this place was the mecca of my tastes. I could... More

Had a slow cooked prime rib: delicious. Also strong selection of beers and cocktails. Weird enough an irish coffee is not really European style, but mere americano with a hint of Jameson. Overall, very nice experience.

Had dinner at cobblestones last night with my 2 kids (21 and 26). First off I rated the place Average because of the parking. We got there at 5PM and their little parking lot was full. No big deal drive around to the back and pay $5 for parking. Really! We had the Onion strings appetizer which was good and... More
