We stumbled upon La Boniche on a cold February night and felt fortunate that they were able to seat us almost right away even though we did not have a reservation. The decor' has a country French feel; very cozy and tasteful. It looks like it's a pricey place, but the bill was very reasonable. The menu is a bit... More

Delicious! This restaurant is a hidden gem right on Merrimack Street. Great romantic place with a casual and sophisticated atmosphere making you feel you are in a great French restaurant. Waiter was very nice and we even met the owner. The roast duck dinner was delicious and the after dinner cordial was a great way to cap off the experience.

Great food, a variety of bistro meals, friendly staff and great atmosphere! Chairs were just wooden and became uncomfortable after a while. I had the lamb which was enough to feed two.

After a day visiting the Lowell National Park site, we needed nourishment and rest. This venue was close and provided everything we needed. We sat at a table outside, on a beautiful August afternoon, and enjoyed some excellent wine and food while talking over the events of the day.

Went with a good appetite and always find delicious options. Shared a wonderful appetizer and always find portions generous enough for a left over lunch. For a quiet Tuesday evening, had no issues with getting a table and please to see two good size groups and others enjoying the evening there. Service was friendly and helpful. Only negative is table... More

Charming lunch menu and the items I've tried include unusual tastes, so the sweet and sour coleslaw had a lovely fennel/anise tang, the aioli sauce with the crispy crab cakes enhanced their flavor. My lunchmate was slightly disappointed in their version of a 'medium' burger, a bit too pink, but in my two trips to La Boniche, I enjoyed all... More
